LOAD A CNC PROGRAM USING A USB DRIVE

Thanks for this video Tom. We have two FANUC 0i/MD models in my company and I need to know if its possible to enable some router or WiFi connection between the PC and the CNC control in order to avoid the use of an external device such as USB or CF cards, It's that possible?

can you run the program directly from the usb drive? to save memory. The Haas control does this so very easily.

This also works with newer model fanuc controllers. #17 in I/O settings is the key.

When I go to load from the USB to the controls I get either an alarm saying name already used or if it does transfer it only send a small portion of the program. usually just the first line. What do i do? I followed your directions to a T.

I try to load a program that I copy from dnc but machine didn’t read the files. It did read the usb but it don’t show the files, do you know why?

how can i doit from a computer?
