Saw Sherman’s, APC’s, Jeep’s, and an air force c-47 flare ship shot to pieces by A-7’s & A-10’s on Peason Bombing range in the 70’s & 80’s & what was left was buried in trenches. A strip was made for the C-47 & it was flown in. I watched it heartbroken as it was perforated by thousands of 50 cal, 20 mm & A-10 Vulcan rounds ( engines too!)
Anyone know what kind of rounds were used to work it over? Looks like 50-cal on the left hand side, but some small caliber rounds penetrated the right hand- doesn't have typical heat-round signature.
You just wonder what the poor things went through feel sorry for it in that state it's like it's been robbed of it's parts after it's been dumped! That one has the 2 drainage holes alot jumbos only had the 1 it's the jumbo I've been researching learning everything about for the past year great they found cobra king too! What is the front greatbox cover of off? Oh on a fireing range what a god damb Shame! You see how they never wasted any time welding under the thicker armour on the side's there must have though it'll hold just enough for as long as it'll last just get it done an back out!
Kinda hard to think of "Jumbo" and Sherman in the same sentence. Shermans weren't that big of a tank. And that hulk isn't all that heavy considering it's basically the hull and turret. A lot of big dozers weigh more than that.
I think this Canadian outfit has been restoring it for a while, and have now sold it to another Tank museum/restoration outfit in the UK and you are watching them load it up for the overseas trip.
7:30, Mr. Heavy D look-a-like you should think about losing the feelings in your extremities. I say this with all respect. Get into a gym and consider your health food choices. I'm saying this out of care not hatered.
Body shaming is not cool. The man obviously knows his limits, and doesn't need a stranger telling him anything. Besides, can you swear like him? Huh? It is a skill.
@@terrywarner8657 Body shaming is something known only to americans. The rest of the (still sane) world calls that stating out the obvious based on medical reasons. I think he only means the best with that message, dont spin that arround in some politicaly corect crap, it really does not help. Stay healthy!
@@ReLLaXX48 You're welcome. That fellow is in Canada as am I. A random anonymous stranger calling a guy fat who already knows it isn't going to make him change anything. But ... can you drive a very large low-boy truck and trailer? He can, so stick to what you know.
@@terrywarner8657 So, something like, someone is smart, but your dress is pink, so everything is cool. Because f*ck logic. Got it. I see zero connection between a random guy pointing out the medical obvious and someone elses ability to do something. If that guy cuts his life short by 20 years with his diet, do you think his familly will be happy with this as long as he can drive a truck and trailer? Really? This seems logical to you? How?
@@ReLLaXX48 You're confusing issues. I mention that the man has a skill, and you're complaining because I'm standing up for him. When I hire someone to do a job for me, I want production and deliverables. Today I have a crew putting new shingles on my roof. Is it important that the Journeyman's pants are filthy and ripped? Nope, because he is doing a job I can't. Or that the Apprentice's voice is very soft even though he is a big burly guy? No. I am paying them for their muscles and ability. Just like the trucker who drives a very big rig. So, back off and keep an open mind. Skilled tradesmen are getting harder and harder to hire without you shouting insults from the internet.
