Tips: 1) first engage the film in the spool on the right side and then engage the film roll on the left side. In this way you waste less film and usually you can reach 37 exposure instead of 36. 2) to see the right direction of the spool you just need to open the empty camera, use the film advance lever and you see how the spool rotates
You have a great masculine sounding voice, something which has become rare indeed in modern times. Loved this video. I recently acquired an absolutely beautiful Contessa LK, in its case. So far I've only shot a roll of Ilford HP5, to test it. I also got a superb Minolta XD11, for £23 on eBay UK, with a "Body fault", it took a full strip of the mirror and shutter to fix it.
The button is not moting when i take a picture. But i risk to have a look inside and i see the film was moving. Its this still a problem when de button is not moving after i take a pic?
Not necessarily. There may be some slack in the film canister. If you've only shot one or two frames, you can open the back to see if the leader is securely fastened in the take-up spool and only lose the first five frames or so. If you're in the middle of the roll, then shoot until the frame counter reads 36 then rewind. This is why we shoot test rolls. When I first got this camera, the advance mechanism was all screwed up and it tore the film. So I knew what the problem was and took it to a repair technician.
Is it true that while changing film from ProImage 100 to a 200 speed film there is no requirement to change the ASA wheel on the camera because the camera has no such film speed adjustment?
