Nice work, but those camo straps look pretty thin. I think Ancra straps are the best one can get, and you won't find these at Harbor Freight, Home Depot or Lowe's. Remember, good straps are much less expensive than a new paint job. Also, I'd pad those straps where they wrap around the forks and swing arm; you'd be surprised at how quickly a strap running over a sharp edge can wear through.
How much space did you measure out between the chocks? I'm inspired by your videos! Gonna build it this weekend. :) Going to Lowe's now to get the 5x8 trailer!
I measured 23 1/2" from inner bolt hole on the left chock to the inner bolt hole on the right chock. hope that helps don't forget to subscribe thanks for watching.
I have a video on oil change and cleaning the chain and checking adjustment, I will add chain adjustment to my list of videos to make thanks for the suggestion. ru-vid.com/video/%D0%B2%D0%B8%D0%B4%D0%B5%D0%BE-y21LaLUXI60.html ru-vid.com/video/%D0%B2%D0%B8%D0%B4%D0%B5%D0%BE-dImm7hL32ls.html
Need to run strap over triple tree or the folk brace so you are compressing the shocks, keeps the front from bouncing. I hauled motorcycles for years around the country.
You only need a little tension on the straps, I have towed my Z900 around 6,000 miles since making this video and I have had no issues. I like this way better than compressing the suspension. Thanks for watching.
Bar straps will work fine, I prefer not to load the suspension for long periods. I haven't had any issues other than tires wear out on the trailer. Thanks for watching.
Hello Simon,🙋🏻♂️ any idea how to clean the inside of the headlights ... recently after installing the leds on my z900... I kind of didn’t install the dust protectors properly...🤓... 😁..
@@Gtknoob It should work but you would need to rinse alot and then dry it. I did find this video of using a magnet. ru-vid.com/video/%D0%B2%D0%B8%D0%B4%D0%B5%D0%BE-hnZ1yRL5yFY.html
