You did an amazing job. This is such a well-edited peek at the overwhelming amount of work (and fun!) that goes into making this happen, and I really appreciate it. You're on the editing team for Road Quest, right? Excited to see it whenever it's ready!
Gavin Li, this is nothing. Last year I heard "I'll be the Roundabout" by Yes about a week before DB and I was like "Oh yea it's November! I should see when that starts."
Thanks so much for bringing us this every year. Your thoughts, actions, and hard work are appreciated by everyone and we love you guys for being such a positive force in the world. Along with all of your other amazing content. Thank you for still being who you are.
I really want to say a special "Thank You!" to the always amazing, wholly underappreciated Heather Dery for her stellar behind the scenes work on LRR projects. I was a little sad that she and her name didn't appear during the "meet the team" section towards the end. Behind the scenes work takes a lot of skill and knowing when to shoot to get gold on film. Many kudos to you, Heather!
Kathleen's excitement for her costume is probably the best part of this video. Awesome seeing this though, thanks for all the work making this video happen.
Can I just say love these longer Loading Times that show things like the move and DB? Besides being insightful, they also are a bit more emotional than other things, and make me really appreciate the good you guys do
In this video, not only do I just appreciate one particular individual; I appreciate EVERYONE in the LRR crew. All this video did is reinforce my appreciation of the LRR crew for their hard work everyday. Thanks LoadingReadyRun!
47:55 This week on the Myths and Legends Podcast, the story of a bus full of unfortunate souls cursed to wander from Tuscon to Las Vegas and back again for all eternity, and the one who became king of them all. Then, for the creature of the week we'll see why you should never dance to Gangnam Style at half speed, unless of course, you want to become a multi-headed emissary of the apocalypse.
This was my first time watching desert bus and it was AMAZING!! Seeing even this fraction of all the hard work you do for this event was even better. Happy Bussing 2018!!
Never fails i always cry so much at anything bus related. It's such a good cause, you all obviously care so much about it. It just hits me in the feels so hard. Thanks for all the stuff you do and the reasons you do it.
This came out extremely well timed. Thanks a ton for all your hard work and I can't wait to see what cookey stuff you guys come up with for desert bus XVIII
This was an excellent and wonderful Loading Time. Thank you for all the hard work everyone involved and especially Ben for cutting this together so well. I can only imagine how long this took. Also, I died at about an hour and ten minutes when I saw "Sage this shit" on the tape convo on the wall.
I love the music that plays when Ian is trying to put the Button together. It's a perfect metaphor for his tinkery mind! Also, Bučan Bučan was the best DB intro ever. That's gonna be a high water mark for intros for a while. I absolutely lost my mind at the sight of Andrew bringing a live marching band into the Moonbase.
Thank you so much to Ben and Heather and everyone for your hard work in producing this LT! And of course to all involved with the event itself! You make the world a better place!
Amazing job everybody! Thank you SO much for everything you did and will do! (Yes, even you who thinks you only did a little bit compared to so-and-so.)
This whole video is just too amazing! Here are some of my fave moments 43:45 49:19 56:57 1:07:59 1:10:26 1:12:43 Thank you for bringing us such quality content
Finally managed to sit down and watch this and really from beginning to end this was so Impossibly Good. I genuinely love it. On a completely different note Ben's plaid tie and black shirt around the 42 minute mark is such an amazing fashion statement.
1:13:26 and Heather just walks out of the building, never to be seen or heard from again. 9 months later, this footage was found. The Dogem'n claims another victim.
@17:59 those board games are the prizes I gave these amazing people! They raised I think 800 dollars? It was a lot and much better than sitting under my bed.
Has anyone learned the title of the song Bučan Bučan played for Andrew's intro? I've tried to dig a little into the band and come up with nothing. (As a side note, they are very talented, and some of their performances can be found on RU-vid.) Edit: I found it! It's called "Otpisani," and it can be found on their album called "Labud."
Question(also I probably won’t notice any response for a day or two): could someone tell me the name of the song around 1:14:30 and 1:15:26 ? It’s soothing/nostalgic and I like it.
@CleverCrumbish & CleverCover First off, nice matching usernames! :) Second, thanks for what I take as encouraging comments, I appreciate it. I think my comment came off as a bit more self-deprecating than I meant it. It was supposed to be more in the vibe of "wow I'm impressed with all these amazing skills people have that I don't" with regards to all the impressive work and skill it takes to set up and run Desert Bus for Hope. From the logistics, to the technical know-how, to the artistic aspects, they are all so very impressive! :)
