Desert Bus for Hope is the longest running annual community fundraiser benefiting Child's Play Charity. This wonderful video by Bionic Trousers Media and Flying Saucer Media helps explain why driving a virtual bus from Tucson to Vegas every year means so much to not only the patients it benefits, but also is so important to the people that drive the bus and those that watch and contribute along the way. desertbus.org/

This video is EXCELLENT. And Graham's late-video statement of "this isn't from personal experience, but" is gut-wrenching, knowing that he'd be fighting cancer himself five years later. (With full recovery, but still.)

As a reminder, donations to Desert Bus go almost entirely to Childs Play (and that's a good thing) so if you want to feel like you've "paid" towards this documentary I would suggest the LoadingReadyRun patreon or one of Flying Saucer's future projects.

What a great way to get revved up for this year's DBfH, and such a great reminder that contrary to the dumpster fire 2020 has been so far, there's still good, and joy, and laughter in the world. This is why we keep coming back every year. Yes, there's always the goofs, the prizes, and all the other craziness that a week straight of content causes. But it's the people. The people who put it on, the people who donate to make it happen, and the people whose lives we're improving because of it. This is, indeed, Desert Bus.

Great to finally see this out in the public for everyone. Nearly 2000 people on the Kickstarter were able to stream it back in August 2017, but tons more should watch this too. Just as good the second time around.

Welp, this video is a record making hit. Getting me to cry in the first thirty seconds beats every Pixar movie ever made. I know y'all might not see yourselves as one, but after watching a video on the good superheroes embody, it's seeing that come out in real life that also made me tear up even more.
