Clicked on the video expecting to see a flight in New York or some other state, shock and awe descended when I saw VT! So glad to see other rocketry enthusiasts in my home state.
@@pathtouch1 I looked into some 75mm stuff a little bit but the prices scared me off pretty quick! I think after I (hopefully) get my L2 next month I'll stick to $150 K motors for my 54/1706 case for a while.
Great flight! Don’t you just love those late night last minute tweaks we have to make to get the rockets ready? LOL. Thanks for sharing! Very nice production. Just subbed and looking forward to your future videos.
Thanks, I always bust out the cell phone camera thinking a quick video will be easy and next thing I know it takes four hours to edit it all together haha. No matter how much prep I try to do ahead of time it always seems like 80% happens the night before :)
Grew up on other side of Lake Champlain and flew model rockets till I joined the Navy. Try to head back once a year to visit family. May have to look into this rocket club. I only flew LPR kits and most ended up in the Adirondack trees. 🤣. Nice flight.
That's the Featherweight GPS tracker. Big fan of it, and it makes finding the rocket on the ground (or in the trees) very easy to do. I popped a main chute at 6,400 once and watched my rocket drift past the field into the forest and had no problem finding it and the tracker essentially paid for itself that day.
