I think one of the reasons why this channel is so addicting is because she treats the camera as a friend and a lot of the things that is in the videos is what you would do to a friend, due to which as audience we feel more connected to her than other youtubers who narrate from scripts, nothing wrong in that, just an opinion
u worded this perfectly ive been Wondering lately why im so engaged in faline's vids, more than any other youtuber. my attention span is short, and i like that i don't have to pay too much attention because she's just being silly but in the best way! and i guess what you said about her treating the camera like a friend is what connects to the silliness part, its just so comfortable and easy to watch
When the world needed her the most she returned with a teddy kit edit: thanks for the likes :) EDITTT: it’s been a year but I would like to update that I started playing genshin ( a couple months ago ) so yeeeeaaaahhh
That's how we all found her. I found her on her videos saying how channels traced her art and I looked at the rest of her videos and somehow I'm subscribed.
As someone who has cross stiched and made doll and teddy bear clothes since the age of 7, I have to say this teddy bear is a masterpiece. I mean, it's not perfect, but so wasn't I when I first started. Tbh, Saline deserves an award for making such a beautiful teddy bear.
My name suggestion is Janus and here's why: 1. It is a cool, unique name (how many Janus have you met?) 2.Janus was a Roman god (intimidates everyone within a 500km radius) 3. Janus (the god) had 2 faces (a refrence to the eye placement) Thank you for coming to my Ted(dy) talk (Edit: I did it. Can I now rest in peace?) (Edit2: Dang it, the name is Gert)
i did something similar for a school project around when i was like 15-ish. we had to make these plushies for first graders based off what they drew and mine... drew spongebob and we were literally given a month for the whole project. yeah anyways i got pneumonia during the project and had to take like at least a week off school and then i fell extremely behind on everything else so the spongebob fell by the wayside until like a week before it was due where i stayed like 6 hours over when we were supposed to go home for a couple of weeks just to work on the plush until i gave it to him and the arm fell off within 10 minutes. overall i think i got a c on the project although honestly any grade would've been a victory to me. my teacher banned "characters that already exist" from the project for future years so now everyone who does it has to draw out EVERYTHING based off of a 7 year old's OC, guaranteeing nightmares for both the stressed out teenagers and the traumatized children lmao
@@lowercase_ash lmaoo yeah. literally forgot about it until this month where on like some screensaver thing my mom has on her laptop, a picture of the absolute hellspawn known as the spongebob toy i made just showed up
@@venusflytrap8079 it was an engineering class lmaooo none of my other projects were like this outside of the fact they were all horribly time crunched. if u happen to somehow go to the same high school as me, avoid it like the plague lol
@@jadehoundz as someone who uses all pronouns, if someone were to only use "themselves" that's only using they/them. if someone says they use all pronouns, then it means all pronouns, whether it be he, she, they, xe, or any other. so correcting someone and saying they should use "themselves" instead of "himself" for someone who uses all pronouns defeats the point of the person using all pronouns /nm /gen
"I gave my Teddy bear a full 360 view of the world" And trauma, you- you gave him trauma He and the immortal snail will probably join forces to conspire against you
Honestly - a fabric like this is definitely not beginner friendly. Plus, the instructions sounded not clear at all, especially for something that a 8 year old supposed to understand. I think you did good for someone who has no experience at all! Also, that was very entertaining to watch, I love your sense of humour.
This video gives me that smile you give to your 7 year old cousin for making something for the first time. The kind you have to give when complimenting it for 5 minutes saying "thats such a good bear" and " You must have put a lot of effort into such a magnificent stuffed animal" when the bear actually looks like Sid from ice age if he died all his hair brown and gained weight.
Nevermind. I made this comment before the eye fell off. It looks like you took fur three black beads and rolled everything up in a ball and just called that the head
i was eating extremely spicy noodles and like i was fine with them. UNTIL i literally laughed so hard the spice somehow went into my nose and it's been burning so bad for the past 10 mins thank you faline love you
This fucking made my day. I was not having an overly happy day but when I watched this video I laughed so much through out. It was beautiful. I love Faline.
Me watching this as someone who likes fabric crafts and also crochets: *INTERESTING* but fr tho, she did great for a beginner handling this kit since fuzzy fabrics are annoying to work with since they shed a lot 🙄 anyways her contents are *truly legendary*
Yeah, working with fuzzy fabrics (especially slick ones like this!) is a real pain. I've only done it a couple of times myself and I now mostly stick to fleece! It's especially impressive when you pause and look at the instructions, which are terrible.
At the start, when you made the head, my brain was like: “Oh wait thats kinda cute! What could POSSIBLY go wrong? But the end..the bear was..how should I put this? AMAzING OMG I COULD NEVER- FAL, YOU ARE *TOO GREAT AND TALENTED FOR YOUR OWN GOOD.*
Poor Quasimodo bear brought into this world out of love, only to be laughed and mocked at. But underneath that unearthly exterior is a teddy bear with 360 vision.
there are 3 types of friends when you fail the one who just laughs and doesn't stop: the one who doesn't understand how the heck you failed: and the one that tries to make you feel better:
"We've done two of the hands, We're donewith the head and now all that's left is the legs and the body" I knew it. I knew we were eventually gonna mass witness Faline doing murder
The parent review was the best thing ever. Help me I am actually crying with laughter. It is still so so SO much better than what I could ever do. I’d probably sew the head on backwards or something 🤣
At the end, I was laughing so hard that I started sobbing. I shed so many tears that my yearly supply of tears is spend now. It's the beginning of January. This teddy bear will be the reason why my dried out hag heart won't be able to cry if anything sad happens.
Faline: can 8 year olds even hold a needle? *My 7 year old brother who has chased me with a knife multiple times for looking at his christmas wishlist*: I can do more..
The friends review part got me laughing so much it hurt. The bear is perfect, I am so glad he will be making an appearence in my nightnmares from now on.
I could just imagine when she gives this bear to future generations in her family it would be the first time they swear. They would just see this abomination and just say “What the fuck?” PS, Bear’s name is Filipe.
this is going to sound weird, but thank you for covering the blade up, I have mental health issues, and usually seeing things like blades trigger me to bad memories, so thank you, Faline San~!
this is all especially funny to me bcuz my mom taught me how to sew when i was 8, so the whole "can 8 y/os even hold a needle? can they read??" is very entertaining lol
Its alright to fail making a teddy bear, I did so once and the finished product didn't go well- but you did your best so that matters most faline :D you made my day better with this video :)
