Imagine having all the resources available to the Secret Service.... and then blaming a security failure of this magnitude on a township sized police department....
I know right. And, just considering that particular police station, well, whoever thought they were trust worthy or responsible needs to resign, obviously didn't do their research
Interesting comment. Do you personally know the resources of the Secret Service that day as well as the current number of persons under their protection?
All those resources? Over 43 protection assignments (Ashley bidens boyfriend has one) and less than 1200 agents world wide. Swat cops inside w the snack table and AC.... all love to dress up no one wants to sweat on a rotational moving foot post outside. Narrow and uninformed mindset you have
ABC 7 is saying that Crooks was spotted on the roof by secret service at 5:52. Trump didn't take the stage until 6:02. At 6:12 Crooks fired the 1st shots. IDK why something wasn't done about him being on the roof.
@@moneybilla nah child. I'm a mechanical engineer. You're a social media influencer with exactly one follower - your mother upstairs who feels bad for you and gives you sympathy likes.
Who made the decsion to put the swat team INDOORS when the rally was OUTDOORS? From what I understand it was USSS. They were the first to throw out the 'sloped roof' excuse.
It's like those _Family Circus_ cartoons when the parents ask the kids who is responsible for some various mishap. The kids invariably answer with "Not me", "Ida Know", and "Nobody"
Secret Service Director Kimberly Cheatle, who is facing congressional outcry &calls to resign over security lapses leading to former President Donald Trump's near-assassination Saturday, landed her role thanks largely to a close relationship with Jill Biden, The Post has learned.
It has worked so far, look who they put in the Whitehouse, and who they are nominating to replace Biden. Lies, lies, lies have got them this far so far.
It's quite possible that she is simply incompetent, but is not responsible in the sense of perpetuating this. My guess is that someone else withing the SS or the local police department was involved. We may never know how, given the secrecy of our FBI when it comes to such events.
Well they are secret you know let see some hearings on this If they can't even protect a former President. How the hell can they protect the american people
This is embarassing and makes us look a bit vulnerable. Far from the image of the TV American government, where we always get our man and have unlimited power and military toys. YIKES.
So a shooter just happened to plan for the fact that secret service for the first time ever would leave the building with the best view out from being protected? Is this what they are trying to tell us?
It’s outside of the secret services “lockdown” range. The actual rally area is completely locked down by secret service, the outside perimeter of the rally is locked down by local cops and secret service combined, then outside of that range(which is the building the shooter climbed) is the range for local police solely to lockdown. I think this is all just a huge mistake on the local cops for not securing the roof of the building, as well as a huge mistake by the secret service for trusting in local police that much and not double checking the local cops work. They both need to admit fault. A cop even stated he climbed onto the roof right before the kid started shooting but got scared and jumped back down because the kid pointed the rifle at him.
@@jo3yd12 local police was pretty clear, they only had 7 people there strictly managing traffic. You can't trust a small town police department with protecting the president, they have zero experience.
@@jo3yd12 There's no law, rule, or regulation that requires the secret service to only secure the rally. Furthermore, there's no law, rule, or regulation that prevents the secret service from securing buildings outside of the rally. The secret service messed up ... royally. Furthermore, as the township manager stated in this video that they informed the secret service two days before the rally that they wouldn't be able to secure the building. The secret service never replied back. You're making excuses for them for actions that are inexcusable. Give it up.
"Lies, malfeasance, incompetence" sounds like every person Biden appointed. Can you think of one Biden appointee who was actually up to the job they were appointed to? But there is a brown one, a gay one, a trans one, a lesbian one, and on down the list of protected groups.
She's been told to take the fall for Homeland Security's Mayorkas who allows thousands of illegals to cross our borders daily - does he want terrorists here? Is he involved in plots to take out President Trump. All Republicans better stand with Pres. Trump or be removed from their comfortable seats of power and influence.
Give us a hint what the reason was------like you have the inside scoop. You are not the only one with unproven theories. Many Dem's are like you----and think this was staged. A Trump prank----to make him even more popular. Could there be truth to that? I don't believe it---but it is the top theory.
NEVER EVER should our tax dollars NOT fully protect our sitting President or former Pres. WHY are these clowns getting paid??? Fire them ALL. Every last one
7500? Wtf did you get that number try less than 1200 agents worldwide on 43 protection assignment (not counting 3 to 6 campaign stops per day). Horribly under staffed that they pull agents from the IRS, post office, dhs, etc etc. ... just to stand OUTSIDE the building the cops chose to stand INSIDE of
@@rdo0409we spend billions on other things and countries, but can't fund the most important people of our country? Unacceptable! I've never seen so many mess up from any administration like this one. Afghanistan, Lloyd Austin absence, and this.
We don't know what arrangement s there were. Why rush to blame when there are two separate groups responsible, and many unknowns? And you know-- Trump is the enemy of smooth-running operations-- being a guy who won't follow any rules.
All it would have taken was ONE agent (or local cop) on this SLIGHTLY sloped roof and this would not have happened. Why was this building not included in the security perimeter? Where did this kid get this twelve-foot ladder? How did he get so close to the event carrying an AR-15 assault rifle? Why did the Secret Service allow Trump on that stage when law enforcement and spectators were telling them for THIRTY MINUTES there was someone on the roof of that building? None of this makes any sense......unless you look at it from the perspective someone in the Secret Service did not want Donald Trump to be president!!
The kid bought a ladder at the Home Depot on the morning before the shooting. But they did not find the ladder and he used the air con ducts instead to get on the roof. A lot (if not all of it) makes sense if you remember the following saying: don't attribute to malice what can be easily explained by stupidity.
@@frontenac5083 That has nothing to do with any of this. There were two minutes and one second where EVERYONE, EVEN THE CROWD knew this guy was there and they let him continue to speak on the stage. Even while the cops where trying to get to the threat on the building, they let him speak. You can make up all the excuses you want, nothing explains that but the fact that it was done on purpose.
This is why back in the old days, City Police used to avoid "our partners in law enforcement" if the partners were Federal Employees. Like the old song says, "You always leave me holding the bag, don’t you know it's getting pretty heavy to drag"....ALL Federal Agencies will drop you in it and claim it were you. Kudos to the town manager for standing up for his department and town.

@michaelpowell7120 Right? The issue is biden being removed , leaves the country still in the hands of whoever has been calling the shots. Biden is just a face. Someone to blame. Remove that and now what?
Thomas Crooks is literally still alive, the 20 year old man is most likely using Instagram currently right now. Not to forget, that he pretty much gotten away with it. I can guarantee that Thomas is NOT the gunman, someone else did this.
@tuttifongul2006 lots of things seem suspicious and it's a conspiracy theorists wet dream, I agree with you throwing out crazy tin foil hat stuff isn't helping, it's as simple as they've been leaving spots like this in the hope some lunatic or it's incompetence by someone. Hanlon's Razor "Never attribute to malice which is adequately explained by stupidity."
Makes you wonder if maybe you could hear the commotion on the roof from inside? And sloped? That guy is laying down almost flat on his stomach. He AND she are the Patsy's here.
Even though local law enforcement might have had “responsibility” for that building...It would still be UNDER Secret Service supervision and authority...or sure as heck should be.
As a leader of people myself, you HAVE to take responsibility for everything. You cannot skirt responsibility. It’s your fault Ms. Cheadle…own it and resign.
@@speaktruth9313 in stressful situations people use words that overwhelmed their thoughts. Now it’s a matter of deciphering what those thoughts reveal.
That roof is almost flat. Who is she kidding. Cheatle knows nothing about securing roofs. At least the inside of the building was secure. It is bad when a 20 year old outsmarts the once premiere security organization.
I could have sworn that local police have no say. The secret service is above the police they are higher. Secret service has more rights then the local police.
@@djuarakurniawan4738 Affirmative action hire 25 years ago and promoted over more qualified men. You can see how inept the Secret Service has become under her leadership.
At BEST this was gross negligence by the Secret Service. That poor family of the Firefighter who was killed all because of that failure… and the others who got critically injured… the secret service needs to clearly explain what went wrong, and most importantly what they are doing differently going forward so that doesn’t happen again.
How low the Secret Service has fallen. I can't even believe they are now trying to lay blame on local police. THEY are the ones in charge. I would say they have the expertise, but apparently they don't. The fact that they haven't fired this person is mind blowing to me. She is the Kathleen Kennedy of the Secret Service.
I've kept from joining the growing crowd calling for her to quit or be fired, I tried to believe that secret service wasn't negligent and horrible things just happen. But her blatant lie about the shallow roof pitch being too extreme of an obstacle for them, I lost all hope in this not involving corruption and coordination. Now we learn it's all to be blamed on the local government. What pisses me off more than anything is her and our government believing we're stupid enough to believe her.
They WEREN'T responsible. The mayor of the town called Fox News with the operational plan in hand which clearly states local police were only responsible for traffic control, not perimeter security - that was the domain of the Secret Service, as you mighr expect.
Whoever was concerned the safety of law officers due to the SLOPE of the roof was a idiot. Most of single family houses have roof slopes more than twice steeper than of that building.
What meteor are you talking about? The imaginary media that you’re talking he tells you about that. You’ve never listened to yourself. Yes, everybody knows the Congress is going to be berate the head of the Secret Service. If she can’t take it then I guess she’s not suitable for the job.

If a mom leaves her infant in the care of a five year old, the mom is to blame if anything happens. These were rural police who were suppose to be on traffic duty. The SS is to blame for the security failures.
Secret service they go ahead and decide what is needed. Who was the person who decided that that bldg was a safe zone. it was planned. No way would they decide that is a safe zone, no way. Also, the police are not trained for this type of protection, or they been doing it all along. to many excused and avenues to distract from the point it was planned. Peace!
