Years and years ago I visited LPL every now and then. After a long time with hairpins and paperclips I have now, just minutes ago, went and got my first lockpick set. I am thrilled!
Hace been using the Genesis set for a while now and i really love it! Fits in the breastpocket of a jacket and it comes in a fine plastic zipbag that i great for storing various locks and stuffs in! Thank you LPL!
McNally might be as or just a little under LPL in terms of skill. McNally is very talented and experienced with locks. They are also 2 different forces; LPL os gentle and polite, and McNally just wants war with lock companies. Love both very much.
@@ShadoCroc it makes sense once you tackle their backgrounds, and how McNalley is tackling it from the normal person side of things and LPL tackles it with some of his lawyer background, as well as having a small fondness for historical, while McNalley stays pretty much up to the times down to the second.
Lockpicking is a skill that can be used for legal purposes like locksmithing or as a hobby. However, engaging in unauthorized lockpicking, such as breaking and entering, can lead to criminal charges. The maximum sentence for lockpicking-related offenses varies by jurisdiction and can range from a few months to several years in prison, depending on the severity of the crime and local laws. It's important to always use lockpicking skills responsibly and within the boundaries of the law.
Almost a decade ago, at work I was given an OG key of a lock not a copy, an actual key that came with the lock, turns out the key was so close to the wavy tool that I was able to slider back and forth and open almost all offices. xD Mostly used it when people forgot keys or something and the other person who had the key left, open it, let them take it and lock back. Multiple times my boss sent to get me cause we needed to get to the Network closet that was in another office (go figure) to do patch panel work.. so he sent me cause we never had keys. Took me like 30 seconds to crack locks with that key.

lol, I'm pretty sure that most thieves just try and open the door before lock-picking it, cause it's a lot easier, also that wouldn't change anything anyway. but you do you.
Just got my Genesis set today💪!! I had a cheap 25+ piece set that came with a credit card hide-away set. They worked but oh my goodness. This set is amazing. The feedback is way better due to the quality of the material. I literally had goosebumps when the pick fell into the keyway like water with the flawless finish. I couldn't control the excited giggle that followed because I was so happy with the result. Absolutely love it!!!
Sorry just seen this. i got it form the covert instrument site for $25. but i do believe that sale is over. So it would be $28 plus shipping which was lik $5-$9 depending on speed of delivery.@@cainabel1265
“The missile does not know where it is, but it does know where it isn’t. By subtracting the positions in which the missile is not by all the positions in which the missile is, the missile then knows where it is.”
@@AlexAlex-bh8fi Look up the Meme "The Missile knows where it is" It is absolute gold of hilarity of techno-babble and double talk, and yet it manages to make sense.
I got this set as a hobby. It’s actually really good. So far I’ve been able to open every master lock and some lock called defense 2 or sum that was on my dad’s container that’s used for storage. I def recommend!! :)
I just got this a few days ago and I have raked every pad lock I have at the house it’s scary how easy it is! I have the clear lock set on the way so I can work on the skill side of lock picking.

Been picking locks with a homemade pick set at work for a while. People forget keys or employees put locks on company property and they radio for me to come pick them. Ordered this set today to try and make life easier as my homemade picks only get me so far.
this is exactly what I want out of my RU-vid shorts. Showing me something cool, and giving the information of what it is, how to get it, and the option that is simply the best. Thank you and Papa bless 🙏
Thanks to this i am now a master criminal, Finished my last score for the year yesterday and im 40 million dollars richer. Thanks for this! Can really vouch for these tools
Decided to buy one. Im homless. This career is a recent option after being locked out of my uhaul and going broke. Unfortunately, got kicked out after my stuff got stolen after my motorcycle accident. Wish me luck.
Just bought the Genesis lockpick set. I was able to pick the deadbolt on my apartment door within about 15 seconds every time I tried. I tried to pick an Ace padlock but it keeps giving me some issues. Tried 20 times or so, only managed three. But I'm learning!
Its a skill, practice makes perfect, dont give up! I think a lot of it is learning the sounds you're after. I still suck a little ess than when I started!
@@Dangerous_DM it adds pressure to the lock, without it the pins wouldn't catch. If you're talking about the rack, it's a quicker way to get into less sophisticated locks.
The missile knows where it is at all times. It knows this because it knows where it isn't. By subtracting where it is from where it isn't, or where it isn't from where it is (whichever is greater), it obtains a difference, or deviation. The guidance subsystem uses deviations to generate corrective commands to drive the missile from a position where it is to a position where it isn't, and arriving at a position where it wasn't, it now is. Consequently, the position where it is, is now the position that it wasn't, and it follows that the position that it was, is now the position that it isn't. In the event that the position that it is in is not the position that it wasn't, the system has acquired a variation, the variation being the difference between where the missile is, and where it wasn't. If variation is considered to be a significant factor, it too may be corrected by the GEA. However, the missile must also know where it was. The missile guidance computer scenario works as follows. Because a variation has modified some of the information the missile has obtained, it is not sure just where it is. However, it is sure where it isn't, within reason, and it knows where it was. It now subtracts where it should be from where it wasn't, or vice-versa, and by differentiating this from the algebraic sum of where it shouldn't be, and where it was, it is able to obtain the deviation and its variation, which is called error.
Just got the genesis kit in the mail 2 days ago and managed to get 1 masterlock no40 open a few times with the rake, then bought a normal cheap padlock from Walmart and have been able to get it open almost everytime with a rake
never stole a thing in my life, but i know how to lockpick. It's just really satisfaying to do. But i personnaly dont like his technic event if it is faster it ''look like'' you dont know what you are doing.
The real channel is mc nally official Edit : Sorry It thought this was a rip off because they have the same voice. I think mc nally is still better nonetheless
@@thewafflegamer6152 to be fair while master lock absolutely deserves to be ridiculed their locks tend to be pretty resilient against physical force. that is unless they made it vulnerable to rapping attacks in which case you're SOL
Now that I’ve gotten to one of your vids, the first lock I actually picked was a drawer that was already open, with a single Bobby pin, I broke it in half and used it like a rake pick
@@stresslevel1009it's a joke video. Basically the entire video is just "the missile knows where it is and where it isn't, and where it is from where it is, by subtracting where it is from where It isn't, and where it isn't from where it is ( whichever is bigger)" but repeated with slight alterations.
Fun fact: on International brand semi trucks you can replicate the rake by scrubbing a similar key into the ignition. We call it "jiggle keying". I had a key that worked on any truck in the yard and i should've kept it after i left the company
thanks for the advert and training video, I occasionally run into locked locks that have been long abandoned by the owner -work in construction. will let you know how it goes.
