Yep, you would have to try real hard to make a bad landing in a Jetstar. It just wouldn't let you do it! Spent 5 years flying one, and to date, still my favorite plane to fly ever.
One of the most beautiful private jets. A fortune to operate. It'll be a shame when the last one is decommissioned, destined for a museum. Or worse yet.... lay forgotten in a bone yard only to be picked apart, then blown up in a Hollywood production.
It's happened! The last known flying one was flown to Cobb County Airport destind for a museum unfortunately. Someone just bought Elvis Jetstar, though, and is considering restoration to flying condition.
@@crooked-halo That would be "Jimmy's World" who bought it for $234,000 a couple months ago. He just released a video today of the estimate to restore it to airworthy condition - $6 million, but because it can't meet noise reduction something or another, it'll never fly.
That Fan Jet would have done it, a pair of CF34s on the bird and she would have still been flying today, I know a lot of the guys up at Garrett Springfield that did the retrofit work on them and other major projects, they talk about how well built it was.
