We got this Lock N Flate locking air chuck for two specific uses and it worked well for both as well as just ordinary tire inflation. Make sure to buy the correct model for what you want if you get one. They have them in open or closed. Closed is the one you need to inflate a tire the valve stem in it. Open lets air flow without a valve stem in the tire. YMMV have a great day and be safe.

For a regular Joe who has a battery powered inflator for the car, unscrewing it from the tire valve stem caused a lot of air loss. I purchased the "open" LockNFlate and a pipe thread to Schrader valve adaptor and now I have a quick disconnecting inflator. The battery powered inflator cost about $40 and the LockNFlate and Schrader valve adaptor put me back about $50. Now I have the perfect little setup to inflate everything from the wheelbarrow to the car, and all tires in between.

Open valve is good if you have a regulator with a guage... No back pressure.

Thanks for watching and your comment. I agree it’s not cheap, but at the same time Amazon and Ebay are full of cheaper options I’ve tried. Most are around $10 and I’ve been disappointed in each one I’ve used. This is $40 but actually works and we were not disappointed. Eventually Harbor Freight will have a copy but right now if you want something that actually works this is the best option IMO. Have a great day and be safe!

Thanks for watching and commenting. I agree they are expensive but I’ve spent more on the several less expensive ones I’ve tried that didn’t actually work. Soon Harbor Freight or someone will make a reasonable copy but there isn’t any yet that I could find. Have a great day and be safe!
