Wolverine would have been ~197 years old or so in this. He was born in Canada in 1832. This doesn't count any time shenanigans that could increase his age further. Imagine living 200 years and seeing entire generations of your friends and family born, grow old, and die while you linger on to live it all over again. In the span of time you appear in your twenties, you could meet someone in their *actual* twenties, fall in love, have children, raise a family, and watch not only that person you love grow old and die, but have to live on with the knowledge you'll do the same with your children, and generations of their children after. No matter how many people you surround yourself with, that must be a truly lonely existence.

Facts about X-23/Laura: Creator Craig Kyle described her as quote "Pinocchio for Marvel Comics, she's a samurai sword trying to become a real little girl". Unlike Logan, who had already lived a long life before he became weapon X, X-23 never had a normal life, she was literally born and bred for one purpose, and one purpose only, to kill. And she didn’t originally come from the comics, she debuted in the cartoon X-Men Evolution in 2003. In the comics she had already killed enough people to be considered one of the deadliest women in the world before she met Wolverine, and that was when she was a child. Also she only has Adamantium on her claws and not the rest of her skeleton because she was still a small child at the time and the plan was to wait for when she was a full adult because otherwise she wouldn’t have grown into her body. So while she’s not as durable as Wolverine her healing factor is actually faster and she’ll never have to worry about Adamantium poisoning because the small amount on her claws won’t be enough to affect her in the long term.

I wanted to say that this film - this is the kind of superheroics that we all deserve, but it becomes doubly insulting that there is a fly in the ointment in a potentially masterpiece picture, which greatly spoils the overall impression. The caricatured fake villain looks too shabby against the background of the ongoing passions, the film initially sets the bar for seriousness worse than in the Nolan trilogy, but later it still slides into cheap ingratiation with the fan base and lowers the narrative bar for the most unassuming viewer :(However, it's worth paying tribute to "Logan", because the film is really sooo atmospheric, due to the excellent symbiosis of the visual and the amazing work of the sound engineers! As soon as plot holes or other negative moments arise, the film quickly throws us some kind of trick, which neutralizes the negative perception and makes us enjoy watching again. I can recommend it, especially to fans of serious superheroics, in my opinion this is the only really good and completely self-sufficient film from the entire series. The line Yukio says in The Wolverine "You will die with your heart in your hand" is a play into both films. In The Wolverine she also mentions that it happens in an emergency room but that what she sees isn't 100% accurate, therefor it can be transferred over into Logan.

A perfect completion of the line of one hero. The film hooked me with absolutely everything. The future, Logan, who is almost 200 years old, is tired and old, his regeneration is no longer working, and his skeleton is poisoning him from the inside. He lives out his days on the border with Mexico, where he looks after a professor who has developed dementia, attacks of which are expressed in psionic emissions that paralyze everyone around. The finale of the film is extremely tragic, but natural, it just causes a storm of tears from fans. Logan sacrifices himself, giving birth to a new generation of mutants, after his act we understand that there is hope, hope for a new generation.

I saw Logan twice in theaters and both times the entire theater (myself included) cried our eyes out. I still to this day can’t watch this movie without crying so much I exhaust myself. For me the emotional impact is threefold. 1) Because this one of the best movies I have ever seen in my life, even if it wasn’t a comic book movie I would love it to death. 2) I was 10 years old when the first X-Men movie came out so I literally grew up with Hugh Jackman as my Wolverine so seeing him end his reign as this character (when I genuinely thought it was his last time) was both heartbreaking and rewarding to watch because this is the perfect way to close out the story of Logan. 3) My mother passed away 18 months before this movie came out after almost 10 years of fighting cancer, so seeing the deaths of both Charles and Logan was extremely emotional to watch. But in a way it was cathartic to watch because like Charles and Logan she had fought her heart out longer than anyone else possibly could’ve in her condition and after fighting for so long she had earned her rest. So thank you so much to everyone who made this masterpiece, you gave us the Wolverine movie we have always wanted, and more.

After leaving the theater. We were all silence. It was like coming out of a funeral lol. Seriously though. It is the most depressing marvel but there was so much beautiful moment in it. The end where he said “don’t be what they made you” and so this is what it feels like” is so simple but so meaningful in a deeper level….and of course I teared when she said daddy 😭.

The best ending for one of the best Superheroes that has ever existed, Wolverine will always be great, he is one of my favorites, Even though it hurts me that he always suffers and can never be happy. I love Dafne Keen as X-23 in this movie (Laura can already boast that she has several famous twins lol ❤️) The inspiration arose thanks to “Old Man Logan” A very interesting story when you see it in the background, LOGAN is one of my favorite movies in the X-Men saga. We all already knew that the movie was going to hurt them, but it is a true masterpiece! ❤️

They wanted to have a cameo with Logan's half brother Sabertooth. But actor Liev Schreiber wasn't available due to scheduling conflicts. They never said who the boy Rictor, was talking to on the radio. But fans have speculated that it may have been a member of Alpha Flight, who are the Canadian equivalent of the X-Men in the comics. Even with the GMO foods suppressing new mutants, the original Alpha Flight members would have still been alive in that time.

Technically Laura (also known as X-23) is a clone, but Logan actually has a couple of children of his own in the comics. One is called Daken, who is a villain & born in Japan, & he was once part of Norman Osbourne's (from Spider-Man, yes) own villain team version of Avengers. Logan was dying of Adamantium poisoning because of the fact that his healing abilities were diminished. He'd been poisoned by the Adamantium all along, but when his healing factor was stronger, it could protect him from it. Some people speculate that his powers diminished with age, others that the GMO food the Doctor created to suppress mutant genes, might have been the cause. The clone, X-24 was an imperfect clone according to director, James Mangold. He healed smaller injuries quickly, but when he was impaled on that farm equipment, he needed that injection to handle all those major wounds. They also used a much thinner coating of Adamantium on his bones, which is why the bullet was able to blow apart so much of his skull. When Charles said that he remembered what happened in Westchester. He was saying that he finally remembered that he'd had one of his seizures and killed all of the other X-Men.

I love Laura quoting the movie at the end and oddly enough its the part of the movie that hits me the most still to this day. It feels like she finally understood her father completely. Their relationship was rocky to say the least but at the end she saw that Logan was a gun. He had killed and it weighed so heavily on his soul that it affected him too much to just easily love again and he decided that Laura was worth it.

Dafne Keen the amazing young actress who played Laura is the daughter of British Actor Will Keen and Spanish actress María Fernández Ache. Maria was Dafne’s chaperone on set, and in the scene where Laura and Logan have the fierce argument in the car the director encouraged both performers to ad lib. After the scene was filmed Hugh Jackman, who has a daughter of about the same age, felt a bit uncomfortable about shouting and swearing so much at a child so went up to Dafne’s mom to make sure Dafne was okay.. “Don’t worry” said Maria, “she called you a c**t three times in Spanish in that last scene”. 🤣🤣

Hey, Magy and Laura. I really loved this film a whole lot. It was really bloody, very violent, so intense, exaggerating, and heartbreaking. I have to give credit to Hugh Jackman. Not only he played Logan for one last time, but he deliberately gives a outstanding performance. Once Wolverine was a badass always a badass. As for Dafne Keen as Laura, she was so a an amazing actress. Anyway, it was the best X-Men movie, as also one of the greatest superhero films ever made. A disappointing film for sure, but a great film. A strongest recommendation for me on "Logan". Logan (2017) 4/4 👍👍👍👍

In the movie "The wolverine" Mariko predicted the moment Logan died: "I see you on your back, there is blood everywhere, you're holding your own heart in your hand" Mariko is referring to Laura.

Hey ladies, nice reaction :) Adamantium was poisoning him all these years, yes it gave him a great defense when fighting but the metal itself is toxic. RIP original Logan, thanks for giving such a strong well loved character the devotion and time he needed to be on the big screen. Here's to you X-23, keep his legacy going.

So the easy way to explain why Wolverine is back in the new movie 'Deadpool & Wolverine' is that it happened before this movie happened. The more difficult way to explain it is that it might be an entirely different timeline all together. But to understand that you would have to see 'Loki' (TV-series, 2 seasons). They aren't really clear about whether it is a different time-line or just in the past, but it's just a comedy film; no need to be too serious about it. And maybe they'll come with an answer later on. Anyways, I don't really care about it, the movies are not connected to each other story-wise that's all we need to know.
