The Fort Worth Water Gardens were a filming location (one of many in the area) for the 1976 movie Logan's Run. The Gardens are technically an art instillation located on the far South Side of downtown Fort Worth.

We went there today. I was so excited to be standing where Michael York, Jenny Agutter and Peter Ustinov stood. I was in awe!

Thanks so much for this fascinating video. Logan's Run is one of my favorites. I plan to visit the water gardens next year. Love the photography and music...nice job!

It's worth checking out if you are in the area. Unfortunatly be prepared for the panhandlers in the area. Other than that, there is also a few hidden easter eggs at the location. One being a memorial to 4 children that drown there a few years back.

Trivia. The City of Dallas had to shorten the depth of the center of the Garden where Logan and Jessica dive into because too many people were diving in as they did in Logan's Run.

Love the use of locations in the movie. Understand the outdoor footage when they escape the city was shot in Southern California. Would love to know what park(s) and see the actual location where Jessica had her encounter with the reptile!

Really wish I could have seen the building used as the setting for the inside of the city. Looks like it was demolished some time back but hey... I got to see the water gardens..lol

I did not know they reopened up the Water Gardens! I thought it was destroyed after the deaths of four people in 2004.
