A narc thinks they are the most logical and smartest person in the room. But the reason it doesn’t make sense to anybody else is because logic to them means whatever they want in the moment. Logic means whatever they believe in their mind, whatever they fear, whatever they feel, regardless of fact

Yes very true, I'm an educated woman and this brought me to my knees. He down graded me to family and friends and anyone he could talk to. Kept me pregnant and isolated. I didn't know this was going on. Call me stupid. He was always cunning a bluffer in 43 years. Horrible I didn't know there was these entries in the world. Evil.

I talked to a family law attorney once about the Tangled Web of Lies and Deceit that my narc ex created the past 40 years. It was so bad that I actually plopped down exhausted in a chair one time in frustration and asked the ex, How can I tell when you’re telling the truth? (10 years into the 15 year marriage w/4 children.) She replied that she lied about little things, but not about big things. I’d never heard anyone say that before. I was probably 44 years old at the time. The attorney told me that there’s no way she could start telling the truth, because the entire ball of string of lies would unravel her entire life!! That partly explains the narc anger explosions, because they are in exposure/survival/cornered animal mode. TRUTH IS AN EXISTENTIAL THREAT TO NARCS. 😇🧨🧐🧙‍♀️

I came to find help in dealing with them. This is just sad. When I appeal to logic, I get gaslighted being told I try and hold the authority on what’s true. They seem to believe in objective morality and not objective morality

The only logic that makes sense for a narcissist is whatever is convenient and relevant to them at that specific time. For example a narcissistic Woman. Can call men shallow for only liking beautiful women.. but then she might get plastic surgery and suddenly will get new attention from men but somehow they are not shallow this time around. Since she is beautiful now they can’t be shallow because that means they don’t really like her for her. Narcissistic people never use logic or reasoning there is no basis in reality for their arguments

You are exactly right!! They see only what is foremost in their delusional imaginations!! They are constantly running the movie 🎥 projector 📽 in their twilight zone brains. They really are. The film in their projector is their pre written fictional life. And they aim the projector light onto the external world and onto people. I’ve tried to imitate their thought process. Can’t do it! There is NO THOUGHT BEHIND THEIR SPEECH AND ACTIONS.

Amazingly accurate!! I’ve watched my narc daughter deny what is right in front of her!! She talked for about 5 minutes in front of a group at a basketball game in front of her husband. He immediately said, We’ve NEVER talked about that!! He’s an executive. Doesn’t play games.

One I got bitten by had this group of friends who were enamored by her and reinforce her fantasy driven delusions. One thing in common with her friends was all of them were in some way dependent on her facade of know it all aura , as she always presented herself as very calm and assertive caring person . When I look back I want to throw up the kind of fraud she was and how gullible her circle of friends was . They were all her supplies

Which is why you have to call them out and give them only TWO logical choices...either admit they lie and are crazy or stay the fk away from you forever because you're crazy. Either way you have them away from you. Unless they choose the final solution....death, which would be REALLY crazy on their part.

They usually ghost you when you catch them or just pretend to make up for things while keeping more huge lies. The last one I had did admit she was crazy for months though toward the end but still lied about having another bf for 11 years too before we even met so there's that lol

Some of them are very intelligent and capable. It’s their motivations that are skewed. If looking successful feeds their ego, they might put a lot of effort into being successful.

Yes... sent a letter to the ex gf explains the reasons why I don’t want to be around her and each and every point was irrefutable was ignored or deflected in some way and other nonsense was given instead totally unrelated .. I’ve been stalked twice before but fortunately don’t have to deal with that again as I had to move 9 hours away anyways
