I recently got it and must say it is the best DAW period due to how easy it is to use and how fast you can edit Otherwise Bitwig and Ableton could be amazing on a Surface Pro
Considering you work on an Air, the Pro 11“ should be just as fine in terms of screensize, right? Looking out for a cheap A12Z one. Quad speakers, 120Hz and 6GB Ram are important for me, but the M1/2 are too expensive, heh.
Hi Great Video, a couple of features I wish it included such as an Arranger Track so you can easily construct song sections. The other thing I wish Logic Pro (Lap/Desk-top and iPad versions) had is Chord Track like what Cubase Pro has. I notice Dolby Atmos mixing is missing in the Logic Pro iPad version. Apart from those points, it looks great, unfortunately my 9.7" iPad Pro isn't suitable.. So for the time being I'll continue using my 13" M1 MacBook Pro for mobile/portable use. One thing I wish Logic Pro could do is to be able to pitch alter vocals via a midi keyboard in real time.. so you can change a vocal melody in real time.. in Cubase Pro this can be done. NeverthelessI think Logic Pro for iPad is revolutionary and quite magnificent. Also I think it will shine a new light on how good GarageBand iOS is and a lot of people will re-discover GarageBand iOS on iPhone and iPad. The other thing about GarageBand iOS is that it's free on Apple iPads and computers.. loads of sound packs.
I’ve always just used markers for song arrangement and I’ve never used Cubase Pro so I’m not sure about Chord Track. What purpose does it serve? I just traded my iPad mini for the Air 5 (M1) because even though I could run Logic Pro on the mini I wanted to try FCP on iPad and plus I think Mini might be small for Logic type of DAW but it was great for Koala Sampler and Beat Maker 3 type of apps. Thanks for watching and commenting, those were great points!
3 hours in and my automation stopped working, I reinstalled and still broken. Off to a bad start, this is why I use ableton over Logic Pro on mac. Logic Pro always seemed like it was never bug free. Somewhat like GoPro
Oh noooo sorry to hear that dude! I haven’t played much with automation yet but to be fair the app is still fresh and no software is bug free right off the bat. Let’s see how Apple will address these issues and how often. Ableton is solid but I still get crashes every now and then. Nothing is perfect I guess 🤷♂️
@@AdilConstantineMusic yeah I know but it should have been beta tested, it seems like this bug should have been found way before release. I would have found and reported all the bugs that im experiencing. I’m still trying to figure out if it’s possibly a user error. All new projects don’t automate but I pulled up a preset project and automation worked in that so I’m confused
Totally agree at the moment. I haven’t found one thing that will make me take out the subscription at the end of the trial. Cubaisis works fine for me, apart from the lack of tempo track. I’m gonna take a hole lot of convincing
I like logic pro for the iPad but i don’t want to keep paying for it plus i have cubasis loop pro, korg gadget Aum and many more so there is no reason to pay for this, and by the way i have kola sampler to and i own all of these.
