Isaiah Mc Intosh every now and then it’s cool to just vibe and get hype. Every artist has a hype song where lyrics aren’t there but the energy and emotion is what drives people to like the song. Today’s lyricist have those songs, Kendrick, J cole, like I said logic etc. sometimes it’s cool to not take everything serious and flex or just get hype

Isaiah Mc Intosh it just depends though on the intention of the song. It’s near impossible to make 1000 songs that qualify as great lyrics, good transition, even the switch ups, the flow and even the emotion. A lot has been done and the creativity has to be there. When I say more for hype, I mean artists that still have effort behind the songs (Drake, Lil Wayne, meek mill or even any of the A$ap artists.) some of their songs have alright lyrics, the flow is on point and they ride the beat. Now there are your artists like 6ix9ine, lil pump and so one who make hype ass songs but they absolutely don’t say shit. When I dropped this comment, I was originally thinking of an artist like Drake, Good flow, can get you hype, lyrics are pretty decent in almost every song and the effort behind lyrics are there. There’s a difference between a song like flexicution where the motivation was fan driven for him to just drop a main stream song with great flow and less seriousness, but at the end of the day there was a point to it and effort. Idc what anyone says, there was little to no effort for a song like Gucci gang. I swear I can make a song about Nike with better lyrics than some of the shit main stream rappers say 😂

If I’m going through something tough, I’ll choose a song that has meaning and lyricism in it to get me through it rather than rockstar or a Gucci gang. But then if I’m in the gym, the upbeat songs that have a good beat and someone snapping are what get me going so it just depends. Glad to talk music with someone though, thanks!
