It takes more time instead of that you should imagine the nearest value which was divided by 7 i.e 42 - 40 = 2 and the two days before monday was your answere

Since the exact days is 40, and we have 7 days in all, the easiest is to get the nearest number to the given, if we multiply 7 by 6 is = 42. Knowing that 42 is Sunday, we only need to remove 2 days to make it equal to 40 days. So, Friday is my final answer. I'm not really good in math, just caught my attention and try to solve it. Just leaving this comment for now

Do it the bro way. Every 7 days is Monday, go through the 7x table until you get 42, take 2 off so its 40, 2 days off from Monday is Saturday.

Alright, let’s make it simple: 1. **Start at Monday**. 2. **Add 40 days**. 3. **Find the remainder when 40 is divided by 7**: - 40 ÷ 7 = 5 remainder 5. 4. **Count 5 days from Monday**: - Tuesday - Wednesday - Thursday - Friday - Saturday So, 40 days from Monday is a Saturday. is it easy pls like me 👇

Friday is right answer. If we count monday as day 1. Tuesday day2 .... Sunday day7. If we continue this pattern than 35 day is sunday. Than moday 36 and friday is 40th day.

To me, Correct answer is Friday becoz when we use " from today " , it includes even Today. Now,Today is Monday and therefore the week will end on Sunday, and 5 such weeks will consume 5*7 = 35 days . We are left with 5 days more. Now add 5 days after Sun. It will give you Friday. Had the question use the words" after today" ,the the answer would have certainly be Saturday. Thanks

Easiest way to find out the Answer for this Question is 5*7 =35 so Countdown starts from Tuesday for 5 more Days. So obviously itz Saturday and Manual Mind Calculation is rs enough for this

Ans should be friday not saturday. All people are subtracting monday and Sunday as 2 days of 42 but you have to eliminate sunday and Saturday.

Question ask for 40 days Today is monday. Now week is repeated every 7 days. So 7 day from today is monday Till 35 day is repeated till it cannot be further repeated its cycle. 7*5 =35 40-35= 5 days more. Day 35 is monday and adding 5 day more = day 40= saturday

You call it division with a remainder, I call it the modulo operator. 40 % 7 = 5. I think thinking about it this way sometimes makes things easier because you dont need to actually divide the number in some cases and there are many ways to reduce the number. for example, I can tell that 123 days from today in this problem is a friday, because 40 % 7 = 5, therefore 120 % 7 = (3*40) % 7 = (3 * (40 % 7)) % 7 = 15 % 7 = 1, and 123%7 = (120%7 + 3%7) % 7 = 4 % 7 = 4, and 4 days after monday is a friday. I did this entire operation without actually dividing 123 by 7 at all. I could even calculate for (123^2) = 15129 days, I have no idea what 15129/7 is, but (123)^2 % 7 = (123 % 7)^2 % 7 = 4^2 % 7 = 16 % 7 = 2. A Wednesday. You can reduce problems very easily this way when you only have to think about the remainder and the actual quotient does not matter.

I think Saturday is wrong answer.If you are doing 40/7=5 then you should go back 5 days ie, Monday-5 which is Wednesday If you are doing 42/7=2 then add 2 days to Monday ie, also Wednesday You confirm by actually counting going back 40 days
