I just bought one of these today because my old Logitech Rumble Pad 2 wireless stopped working. While it does have the same buttons except for the rumble selector, I don't like the feel of this one. It is not coated in rubber and the back feels cheap and slippery. I notice that the one of the sticks now has an x and y axis bar instead of a square directional box like the other stick. But if you don't mind that, then this is a good pad for the price.
Funny seeing this as I just got one of these recently. I got fed up with the F710 as it randomly drops connection causing me to lose control of my character (even though I'm sitting very close to the computer). No rumble on the F310 but I never cared about that; the control is nice and lightweight as a result; no need to worry about batteries either.
@@issadon7990 The F310 is wired (so no batteries or concerns about connection drop) but it also lacks vibration/rumble support (which may be a plus if you prefer a lighter gamepad and/or hate rumble). The F710 has rumble but wireless only so you need AA batteries and it has connection issues with some users including myself where I'd suddenly lose control of my character. I wish there was a hybrid option where you can choose wired or wireless kind of like Dualshock 4 and 5 gamepads.
Yea Logitech is always putting lot of strong plastic in their products. I love this controller too, gonna try to play Fallout 3 game of the year edition on epic games with it. I actually have this controller now for 2 years i think
I was wondering how the d-pad fares on something like Tekken or other fighting games. Often cheaper controllers have really bad accuracy on their d-pad
