Replacing the stock Omron switches in my Logitech G102 Prodigy Mouse which started to have double click issues in less than a year of use. I replaced it with Kailh GM Reds which are rated for 60M clicks. Opening up the mouse ruined the skates so I had to replace them as well. Links to where I bought them are listed below.

Does it make buttons harder to click? I got mine g102 and buttons are so light that I constantly press RMB just by resting my hand.

I've had that issue before too. The Kailh GM Reds feel just a little bit harder to press that the stock Omron switch. If you want to mitigate this problem, try checking out the specs of the switch you're gonna get making sure that the actuation force is greater than the stock switch.

screw driver size sir? waiting lang sa parts, but when I tried to open the mice, ang liit nung screw. balak bumili sa lazada ng screw driver with appropriate size.

I know you don't go into detail about (de)soldering, but do you remember what temperature you desoldered at?

I'm not sure what temperature my soldering iron can reach but all I know is that it is rated at 40W. I might suggest you get a higher rated one as I experienced difficulties with melting the solder leads.

i did it with a cheapest solder which didn't even work after the project was over, so whatever melts your solder joint works!

Same type of clicker lang pero magkaiba ng brand ung stock clickers ng logitech. Omrons main clickers (LMB, RMB) then Kailh black yung side buttons.

every single switch can double click and drag click, its the debounce timer that cancels the other click and doesnt allow the mouse to register it

prodigy is an older model with 6000dpi, lightsync has 8000dpi. I own both

Any screwdriver na payat and as much as possible ay magnetic tip. Check Lotus screwdrivers (same sa gamit ko)

Hello, usually hindi na po sticky yung aalisin na skates so it would cause problems din. Using double sided tape might be helpful but wont be the best solution for the skates.

sinunod ko to video. nabili ko ung red micro switch sa shopee. kakareplace ko lng ngayon un nga lang ayaw gumana ng left click. parang walang connection na nangyayari. may mali po ba ako sa pag solder?

Pacheck nalang if natanggal yung solder pads nung inalis yung old switches, if na solder ng maayos yung contact pins, and if correct orientation yung switches.

what the hell may ganyan pa palang procedure. kulang naman pla sa steps ung video buti di ko pa ni solder ung akin. at may natatangal pala sa board kapag di maayos ang pagkakarepair. di pa naman ako marunong mag solder. Bili na lang ako bagong mouse or ibang brand hayzzz

@@clubberscycle5864 yes sir may possibility na matanggal solder pads. Hindi na ako nag in depth sa soldering part kasi mas maraming tutorials sa youtube ans better if sakanila mismo mag aral how to properly solder. Sakin lang ung steps sa pag palit ng switch.

@@roningameplays7213 dapat pala sir namention mo yang solder pad as a warning sa video hahah no idea ako ayun kalas. sobrang liit at nipis kasi. anyway lesson learned na rin sakin.
