I'm guessing because it has a screen where most others out there don't, the programming and live programming is pretty nice, so they are probably comparing it to others on the market and calling it the "advanced" version.
Its not just a left & right kind of joystick where you have just left right up down and left corner right corner bottom left corner bottom right corner angled movements The logitech g13 actually has a analog joystick. I've had it for a long time and gamed with it. I know all the specs & its a full analog joystick.
