Great vid man! I have an older version of the g203 and after sometime it gets a double clicking issue that is why im choosing between the viper mini and the rival 3. From your experience which one do you think is more closer to the grip in g203? Rival 3 or viper mini?

Dude this was an absolutely amazing video! I personally decided to go with the g203, however I’m sure the viper mini would’ve worked as well. Keep up the great content and I’m sure you’ll absolutely explode in the future!!

ive tried both the viper mini has a better weight (61 grams), and shape imo it just feels a lot more comfortable because on the g203/g102 the tear drop shape makes some of the sides too wide. the g203 is still very comfortable and has a great shape but the viper mini just feels better. also the shape of the viper mini looks way more futuristic, and i think it has a better looking shape. the g203 has better rgb tho its actually very beautiful the light sync. also for games like minecraft where you want high cps you can butterfly better on the g203. im not sure but the g203 is less durable at 10 million clicks (correct me if im wrong) while the viper mini has 50 million clicks, if you live in asia the g203 is called the g102 and in asia you can get it for around $20-$30, while the viper mini is usually $40-$50. the g203 doesnt have a braided cable, and also the viper mini has a much smoother glide because of the skates underneath. Viper Mini - Better cable - Better skates - Better shape - Better durability - Optical switches prevent double click issues - 61 grams G203/G102 LIGHSYNC - Better RGB - Less expensive in some regions - Can get higher CPS in some games - 85 grams Overall if you only have $30 go for the G102/G203 if you live in asia, if you don't the viper mini is the better option and you shouldnt get the g203 for the same price. only get it for under $30. Also I heard for the g203/g102 models it is notorious for having double click issues but im not sure if it is fixed on the light sync model. so basically if you have $40 and both the viper mini and the g203 are $40 then go for the viper mini. and even if the g203 is discounted if you have enough just go the viper mini.

i have used the razer viper mini for a moment but the side buttons got loose and unplayble and i also have the logitech g 305 ( wierless version of the g 203 ) and also what i think is better with the logitech g 203 is that the side buttons have a gap so the dont get loose that easeley so what do you recommend.

Im using 3d software alot and the scroll wheel quality and feel is very important as I continuously need to zoom in and out in the 3d viewport and also to keep the scroll wheel button pressed to navigate around your objects. Whish of this would you recommend for that?

my personal findings, g203 has 4 separated teflon feet, which gives a unique placebo feedback of the amount of force i used on the mousepad. Im prone to have twitchy tracking using g203. My Solution, standard thickness speed mousepad viper mini has 2 wide PTFE feet that helps in smooth mouse swipes, and microadjustments. Im prone to overshoot on speed/thin mousepads. My Solution, thick control pads

Great comparison however i had g203 before and i didnt like the shape much im trying to pick the viper mini but still not sure because of the lod issue i wonder if u tried the tap fix and adjusting it in the software with different mouse pads calibration it would be great if try it out and share your result with your unit

I'm currently using the Viper Mini for a few months now and the only issue I have is the LOD. I noticeable in fps games. And there's the common "scroll issue" but doesn't really bother me or affect gaming. I just ordered the G102 lightsync on sale to see if the shape would work for me.

I don't think lift off distance matters when it comes to wrist gaming users. So Razer Viper for me

So i claw grip, i use a 120 gram mouse and i dont even know how will i do with a 61 gram mouse, i have nearly the exact hand size as you and i really wanna buy viper mini but i have concerns that i might regret it and viper hurts my purse a little (third world country issues) and g203 is half the price of viper mini aswell im not sure which one to buy uhhhhh i wanna get it before black friday

g203 feels bulky and awkward and heavy. viper has much better comfort curves for the thumb and for small hands its a easy decision hands down the viper wins. i do not notice the lod issue at all and im a veteran low sens gamer. people really overreact. also i am really surprised you prefer g203 for fingertip as the viper has a much better shape for that but as u said its personal preference

Side buttons on g102 / g203 are not good at all - they are rather thin and quite stiff, requirering too much force to activate. Count in the auqward shape relatively higher weitht compared to some other mice on the market and you got yourself a dealbreaker. It might be more budget-friendly but price is not everything as there are far better options even in this budget segment TLDR: it was ok in 2017 but in this day and age would not buy again.

For bungee users , G102/203 cable is superior. This is hands down the best rubber cable and prob second best stock cable behind XM1.

Do not go fpr the g102. I have used 2 of them. Only last for 8 months highest before double clicking. Forget about continuous fire in fps games.....forget about dragging an item in desktop....... forget trying to select multiple items using ctrl plus mouse click. There is no option here go for viper mini

G102 clicks and side buttons are just too good against razer viper mini.. and its more cheaper. And the shape is my favorite about g102..

For fingertip grip, I would say avoid Razer Viper Mini. The egg shape and flatter top of Logitech G203/102 is much more comfortable for fingertip grip. I have both so I'm speaking from experience. People with small hands shouldn't have problems with palm grip on Viper Mini. A major drawback with Logitech G203/G102 though is the double click issue and scroll wheel problems that can develop after a year or two of usage. I had both problems on some of my copies. Yours might not develop these issues, but it's definitely something to keep in mind.

G203 Lightsync is shit, G203 Prodigy has much better sensor.

Don't buy the viper mini it has a bad cable drag the cable has friction with mousepad and it's annoying and doesn't feel smooth
