LOGITECH G27 SOFTWARE DIRECT DOWNLOAD: download01.logi.com/web/ftp/pub/techsupport/joystick/lgs510_x64.exe Additional info: If you're unable to turn the wheel fully in a vehicle mod, make sure you select "Faster if needed" under the 1:1 Behavior dropdown on the FFB screen.
Thanks! You can get some great deals on used Thrustmaster and Logitech wheels and as long as they are working correctly will be more than suitable for BeamNG
I am glad you are making a video on this topic after a long time but I was just asking if this would be recommended with other wheels, mine currently is the G923, not the greatest wheel, but it works. So do you recommend the settings in this video or not to recommend? Thank you!
@@SimulatorAdventures Thanks for the reply! Gave it a try and I really like it, I was afraid the wheel was gonna attack me because normally it was set at 150 strength but I copied all the settings you did and I think because of the smoothing 280 really worked well. Thank you :D
Supposedly the fix for the pedals is to open them up, spray compressed air to remove dust, then spray Contact Cleaner spray to clean the electronics. I'm going to try that tomorrow.
Yes I've heard that too. But unless it was really bad I probably wouldn't go through the hassle. Mine only register about 2-5% input when not being pressed so it's not that bad
I believe it has to be running but you can set it to run in the background. If it's not running then windows doesn't know which type of wheel you have, causing errors.
@@SimulatorAdventures Been trying all sorts of stuff, ever since I think the Covet remaster Beam has felt off when driving even though none of my setting changed. Every video I've looked at says something different, one video has the in game 1:1 steering angel at 0, so I'm not sure where to even start tuning around what ever the Beam devs did. My profilers setting are 101%, 25%, 25%, 15% box ticked, I do have my G25 wheel rotation set at 720 because if you were to turn full lock and do a clutch dump launch and let the wheel go, the wheel would spin back and forth having a hard time gathering itself back up and going straight at 900
Making a .CSV file with WheelCheck.exe and turning down the in game strength from 300 something to 210 seems to have helped, still not 100% but better at least. Not sure how much of what's left is Logitech Profiler or vehicle config
I have the g920, but when drifting the only strenght i feel good is 470 cause it steers itself like it should but when trying to catch the drift its too hard...
I have a question about increasing force feedback on the G27. I have swapped out the original g27 wheel with one that has a larger diameter and slightly heavier, and as a result the force feedback feels a little weaker than before because of the added leverage. What do you think is the best way to increase force feedback? Thanks for the great guide!
For that you should increase your "force feedback strength" in the Logitech app I mentioned in the video. Don't mess too much with individual game settings on that, just bump up the wheels force by default. Maybe 110% or more would work
Windows 10 says it is a G27, Controllers / joystick configuration window says it is a driving force, logitech profiler sees nothing, device manager says it is a driving force, and the profiler setup wizard says it is a driving force wheel. Apparently Windows updated something making these no longer compatible.. Any workaround? Trying to change the driver to the non driving force under hardware allows the brake pedal and accelerator to register but most of the buttons do not work. I am using the pedals and shifter on a stand-alone bit of hardware I made, but the wheel would be nice to have working.
I'm on Windows 11 and it still works. Try reinstalling the software. If that doesn't work try different usb ports and keep unplugging the wheel or restarting the software until it's recognised
i need your help, i did all of the steps but my steering wheel just doesnt have force feedback like when i turn on the right and drive it doesnt go to the left and i did everything in the video so i dont know what to do
Try reinstalling the Logitech software, try different USB ports. See if force feedback works in other games or on different computers. It may be the wheel is broken.
@@SimulatorAdventures I don't think it's broken because when I go on the profiler and change the force feedback there it works but in beamng it doesn't work using the game settings and also on other games it doesn't work either
Did you follow the tutorial exactly? Sounds like you've either missed turning off centering force in Logitech settings or the a setting in the BeamNG force feedback screen
It would work, the settings will be ok but bear in mind that wheel is slightly more advanced than this one. Use this as a start but you could find better guides made only for the G29 I think.
how to reverse the lock at the end?, that 880 degrees, since I want my 900 back but when I delete the force feedback configuration they are still at 880, in other games the 880 degrees persist, I already uninstalled the drivers and reinstalled them. install, I already tried changing the settings in beamng and in the logitech gaming software, how do I remove that 20 degree lock at the end?
You physically can't. That's how the wheel is designed, it's technically false advertising to call it a 900 degree wheel. The lock acts as a buffer to prevent damage to the wheel when it smashes into the end of its travel.
BeamNG's force feedback has its own centering effect so you don't need it on the Logitech profiler. You can adjust the strength in game to your taste. Specifically, what feels wrong?
so i changed all of my steering settings to yours and my wheel still doesnt countersteer like it should. beamng is the only game i play that doesnt give me any countersteering and i cant figure out why
@@SimulatorAdventures I think I have to unplug my wheel then plug it back in because my steering was SUPER stiff for no reason. But I unplugged it and plugged it back in and it fixed itself
It works for me on Windows 11. I just use the G27 specific logitech profiler, I provided a download link in the description. Some people can't get it to work but there's no reason it shouldn't if you have all the drivers installed correctly.
@SimulatorAdventures i have win11 and my clutch doesnt work my shifter doesnt work and i cant install the software you gave it stops installing and gives me an error.
@@revotron69 Idk what to say it works perfectly on my system. Perhaps try and look for an alternative install, but be careful as other downloads could be unsafe
@SimulatorAdventures yeah i tried to install the windows 10 version of the software and it doesnt work i found some articles telling me to disable Hyper virtual something but my laptop doesn't even have that in registry 😭
@@revotron69 See if any of the files are still left on your of from the failed install. Make sure it's 100% deleted off your PC. Restart and try and install again. This app was last updated 14 years ago and while it works on most Windows 10/11 machines it may not work for all
