I've been on waiting list 4 months , I just bought the SWE920 gt wheel and got it 3 days later , it's well worth the price! To avoid 4 to 6 month wait !
well I'm not surprised that people have to wait that long because of the sim racing getting popular now :) I've waited for mine for like 3 weeks maybe ? but it were just before people went crazy about modding their Logitech wheels :) there are others as well :) there's Acelith Design as well :) about same price as for MVH Studios :)
@@GopNet I was #380 in early August, (G920 Gt wheel) now I'm #130 , so prob 2 more months? I will still get one when I get to top of list, but I think I prefer this one (SWE920 from ricmotech site), 👍,
Holy cow congrats man and thank you for subscribing!!! :D I'm glad you like it :) more videos coming soon because I finally have time to do anything !!! :)
@@mwade0470 yes it's best thing to use gloves with suede grips :) I have "newer" version of this GT wheel but with soft leather grips and tbh they're more useful :) of course you can't beat softness and smell of suede but if you don't want to get your hands dirty go for smooth grips :)
Hiya pal :) I believe I've put it in the description :) but I'll put it here as well :) after over 2 years and immense sweating from playing ACC the faux leather started to crack on the part where your lower back is :) even tho i kept cleaning it after every session with leather wipes :) but still it's not too bad to start with :) but I'm on a mission to find something suitable and non leather :) X Rocker Chicane Racing Seat - xrockeruk.com/products/xrocker-chicane-racing-seat-5101001
Thanks for all the advice man 🥰🥰 I really appreciate it 🥰🥰 this video was done so long time ago and when I just basically began doing any sort of "content" 😉 it would be pointless to kinda re-release it now😀since then I've spent days on research for that 😉 something new is cooking where you could actually rate my voice 😀
i’m really wondering if i should get one of these, the setup looked very confusing and the warranty on the logitech wheel would probably end since you mod it right?
not really ? :) I remember buying it because it stated you won't void your warranty because you're only changing the wheel you're not opening the base and doing some actual changes to it :) besides I had my Logitech for over a year now and can't complain about anything :) apart from pedals of course but that's different matter :) it's still a sturdy construction :) but as always the choice is yours :)
@@ItsShyxe oh that :) no it's actually fitting in back as it should when you screw in the circuit board back to the wheel base :) nothing to worry about it's aestethically pleasing :) which grips did you choose ? :)
it's good as new :) you can check out the videos where I play ACC and you can see I'm using gloves when driving :) they're not racing gloves but always something :) unless you want to scrub your hands for 20 minutes after each session :) they leave color on your hands but overall they're still same in the touch as new :) I clean them and brush them every week :) like any suede shoes :)
@@Skippy-id9yt well I don't know what it might be :) but even after 3 months now it still leaves some color on my thumbs :D I'm not really worried about that :) still great mod for that price :)
I am planning to buy a wheel from MVH Studios. Do you still recommend them? I am planning to get the standard PLA (biodegradable thermoplastic) grip. Do you think its a good idea? Thanks in advance!
Hello :) yes I still recommend it after a year :) Mark is super helpful too. About grips... depends on your hand palms it might be fine it might not :) but after around 6 months I've ordered soft leather grips so I don't have to wear gloves anymore and they seem even better than suede :) of course Mark keeps improving the quality of his products so they might be even better now than months back :) hope it helps :D and enjoy your wheel :)
@@GopNet Thank you so much! If I end up buying the wheel I will take the PLA option. Thank you for helping me make that decision!! Actually now I am thinking of whether to buy the wheel itself. I see in the news that people who score very well in competitions use very basic equipment. So maybe I should hold off. Only reason for me to get the wheel is to get a bigger wheel to hold on, and better/larger buttons for DRS and ERS.
Well I'm not forcing anyone here 😉 just doing a little comparison 🙂 I tried to keep it as short as possible and since I could see improvent so fast even though I was still adapting to it then it was just no point of doing more 😉 besides this track was where I were performing best out of GT Sport 😉 and btw it's been nearly 2 years already since I've made this 👀👀 and still using it 😉 well maybe not the exact same as on this video I've bought an updated version because I wanted soft leather grips so I didn't have to use gloves all the time 😉 you can even see it in my latest live streams 😉 but still I'd recommend one as it can give you smallest details even if it's crappy logitech 😉
I'm using gloves when using it because it likes to leave it's color on my hands when they sweat 🙂 and so far it's ok as I'm cleaning it with OMP Suede cleaner and brushing them 😉 hope it helped 😉
Hello mate 😉 No it's actually 3D printed 😉 there's a newer version of this wheel so it's probably better than this one 😉 and about sturdiness it is very light yet strong 😉 there's a video from Mark the guy behind those mods and he's stress testing them 😉 like standing on those wheels and all 😀 hope I covered everything you'd like to know 😉
@@stevenwills559 of course :) it's ru-vid.com/video/%D0%B2%D0%B8%D0%B4%D0%B5%D0%BE-PmrC9J32Rdg.html and ru-vid.com/video/%D0%B2%D0%B8%D0%B4%D0%B5%D0%BE-no_CSH_syx4.html
nice vid we drive around 1.35 to 1.33 on that map you can abuse the track limits a lot more and also you are braking on points you dont have too letting go of the gas a little is enough.
Thank you very much :) as far as I remember it costed me £68 total with suede grips ? :) I'd say that's a very good price and so far it's been terrific for me :) can't think of any other mod for it :) I might think of TrueBrake next :)
@@arturofreitas2365 it's very good :) but the wheel is being constantly updated :) now it's actually hubless so no chance of movement :) I've got another one but this time I went for the soft leather grips so I don't have to wear gloves :)
Not yet :) I'm not really into F1 :) the quality is really good :) but if you go with suede grips make sure you've got gloves unless you want to wash your hand thouroughly after each session with the wheel :) I'd sya the quality for that price is top notch :)
Was there a long wait time for the wheel mod. Was looking in to this wheel a month ago. I know Mark says you have to pre-order first so he has a good idea of the numbers to make and wait time.
That's not too bad. Love the videos by the way. I'm just on ACC now doing a few online races and it's up and down the quality of race bit still enjoying it
Buttons feel great :) a lot better than original as they're bigger :) it is worth it pal :) only downside is the waiting list but it should be fine now since Mark's is making like 500 of them each month :)
@@juliangriffiths9583 everyone uses whatever they feel comfortable with in my opinion :) if you want realism just play ACC :) GT Sport has low realism compared to ACC :) regards :)
