Pro tip, wash your hands before you put your hands on the mouse .and don't eat at your computer. It takes years for me to do what you have done in 1 wtf😂
i have same mouse for 7 it looks like new and iam pooping off in warzone and FOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOORTNITE
It's not grease man it's erosion. After rubbing ur fingers so much it wears off the surface texture. I can't stand having sweaty greasy hands so I wash them a lot and my G305 is still wearing in the same way getting shiny after 1.5 year
I now have my g305 for 2 Years and it hasnt come close to the wear level of yours . Still use it daily for school and gaming for most of the day. Only the sides have become glossy.
@@khizarxkhan. Yup it's very occasional, but I do have the double-clicking issue. I believe it's a problem to do with dirt being in the mouse. Have an awesome day! :D -YS
Bruh trim your nails if ya dont want to scratch it. I've had a g203 prodigy (basically same mouse) and its in perfect condition after 3 years plus of heavy gaming.
Mate I appreciate what you are doing and I know you are trying, but PLEASE clean the mouse before the video. I felt a bit queasy when you took the back off and there was something stuck underneath
Oh no. :( Yea the build quality ain't that high on this mouse, unfortunately. You can try return/RMA it because it's not working. :) Have an awesome day! -YS
I've had the mouse longer, no paint ships, no issues besides some battery ones wich where fixed with aluminum foil. Had to edit this message, from what I've seen the quality control doesnt seem to be the best with these mouses. Some are amazing, no issues whatsoever others have the double clicking issue, get shiny and so on. Logitech is known for that kind of quality control problems
Yea I've heard really mixed things about this mouse. It's a shame Logitech lets quality control slip. My unit isn't that great and I am looking to replace it with something else. As much as I love the sensor the quality on mine is so poor and keeps getting the double-clicking issue every few months now even when I cleaning it out every few weeks :/. I hope you enjoyed the video and have an awesome day! :D -YS
Hmm, I'm not sure I was looking around to RMA mine but I couldn't find anything to send it back xd. I found this one video: ru-vid.com/video/%D0%B2%D0%B8%D0%B4%D0%B5%D0%BE-41Hh1JTs0vg.html and this guy says to clean the mouse (this will void your warranty I think). I found that compressed air sprayed into the mouse click takes out any dirt and that seems to have solved the problem for now. Have an awesome day and make sure to subcribe! :D _YS
Yo I found a link to try and get a replacement :) (Just login as well, your serial number is underneath the battery): support.logi.com/hc/en-us/requests/new?ticket_form_id=360000621393 -YS
Sounds cool, I'll have a look around for it haha. I wonder what sensor the Razer Orochi is using? Thanks for the suggestion! Have an awesome day! :D -YS
@@buildingfilming Haha yea thats really odd xD. Ayy yea I can vouch for the wireless battery on this mouse its lasts ages I only recharge my rechargeable AAA or AA eneloops about every 1 - 2 months lol. Have a good day and enjoy your new mouse! :D -YS
The left button switch started malfunctioning on my G305 after a year(bought on july/2020), i put on a shelf, and recently i decided to change switch, and its much better than before.
@@isaacnewton5075 No problem. Just keep in mind that the quality of the housing of the G305 is quite poorly made. The specs are really good though. :) -YS
@Isaac Newton Ayy congrats on the cheap buy if you bought it xd. Ic haha yea the g305 is a bit weird like that. They don't wear very well. But it's a bargain so algs if u got it. ;) -YS
had my 2nd g304 today. my 1st last 8mon then double clicking on left. i bought a new one today hoping to last few years and maybe buy replacement parts in the future bcoz the shape of this mice is what i like best.
Yea xd. It kinda fixed it self when I used compressed air to blow the dirt out from the clickers but in the end the problem continued. I ended up buying a logitech g Pro instead to replace the g305. Have an awesome day! :D -YS
Yes, I have had the double-clicking issue in the past. It seems to have gone away now but comes back perdiocally. I think you have to get some compressed air to clean any dirt out from the mouse and it should solve the issue :). Have an awesome day! :D -YS
Well, the Sensor of mine is starting to die. That’s pretty unfortunate, cause I really liked it. For Competitive Shooters, that’s not usable anymore. Hope I can get this thing refunded by Logitech and get a Model O Wireless.
Dam thats unlucky. Yea I'm glad I haven't had any electronic or sensor issues. For me, the build quality is really poor on this mouse. I hope you can get a refund :). Have an awesome day! :D -YS
how is it's longevity? is it durable and last long? Personally I just play light gaming basically pubg and looking for something which last long. Any suggestion pls
The g305 is not durable nor does it last long. It has problems with double clicking and the plastic is really poor quality. In terms of its performance like its sensor its really good but the build quality really let's it down. It would be great to check out rocket jump ninja. Have an awesome day! :D -YS
I have the 305 for 5 months and.... My left click came higher then my right one idk how but 2 of the glides came out JUST IN 5 MONTHS and I also have some moist on the 305
Yikes, that's even worse than mine. I hope you can get a refund and return on yours. It has a nice sensor but the build quality is trash honestly. Have an awesome day! :D -YS
@@jimlimbu Ahh ic. I am from New Zealand. Did you purchase it off eBay or Amazon? Or did you purchase it locally? You could try a refund through those vendors or you could try an RMA through the Logitech website using this link. Just make an account first. (Just login as well, your serial number is underneath the battery): support.logi.com/hc/en-us/requests/new?ticket_form_id=360000621393 Let me know how it goes :) - YS
Paint chipping off like that? Cmon man that's not normal. No need to defend a product that can't hold its self through time. My G303 was used the same amount for 3years and never had paint chip off it. I expect the paint to smooth out and get shiny yes, but not chip off... Anyways have an awesome day! :D -YS
xd. I did say in the video I clean this mouse every two weeks with wet wipes :). Also yes I didn't clean it for this video ;) The mouse is shiny because I use it every day. Have an awesome day! :D -YS
@@yedhu226 Yea haha I mentioned that in the video could just be my problem. My wet wipes as far I know don't have ethanol they are meant for babies usually. Could be one of the other chemicals listed though haha. Thanks for your input :) Make sure to subscribe and have an awesome day! :D -YS
