Logitech G433 - A FABRIC Covered Gaming Headset!? 

I've literally had the same pair of these for nearly 5 years. Has never given up and has remained the most comfortable pair of headphones I have ever worn. Well worth the price, they will not go bad on you!

I actually love this pair of cans. I got the camo blue model at a discount, and I absolutely love them. I've been hopping around all my consoles and my pc with this thing, and it has yet to fail me. I think this headset is actually the most comfortable pair I've ever owned, as I find both pairs of earpads to be fairly soft and the headset to be very light. I've actually found the fabric material to be pretty good. It's actually pretty easy to wipe any dirt of it, and it seems like that's what they were going for. Its not exactly "soft" but it's very unintrusive. I keep hearing reviews complain about how "rough" the padding can feel when you move the headset around, but in real world use, it's a big non-issue, unless you're a maniac that takes time out of their day to sand their cheeks with the ear pads. As for the headset's headband, I've used these so much that it's basically stretched out to conform to my head's shape, so minimal adjustment is required whenever I put these on, as the clamping force is pretty low. I would wear these things and forget I even have these on sometimes. And to anyone wondering about the sound, these sound amazing....... as long as you don't use the included DTS surround sound when using the USB soundcard. Honestly, the surround sound is some of the biggest hot garbage I've ever used. You're better off using the headset with the 3.5mm splitter and Dolby Atmos if you want some decent virtual surround sound on PC. Also, for those of you that would use these on PC with the USB soundcard, make sure you enable "ACG" in the mic settings, as the mic is pretty quiet otherwise. I could literally gush about these headphones for a paragraph longer, but I'm just gonna say that if you're moderately interested in grabbing this pair, just do it! I think you'd be surprised by how good the audio is

this headset is gr8. comfortable. portable AF which is a plus for me. doesn't scream gaming black and red too much. is a bit more breathable. say im silly but I'm way happier with this than my hyperX cloud revlover which also had the earcups of it explode. like the leather would go off. heat. sweat and oil. aging on the headband. non portability. plus as of the materials you can change it to the valor and the headband I can't even feel. so im glad I got this. for the price point it's reasonably great.

I am watching this with my G433, yes, the 7.1 can sound a little distant, but bumping up the volume can make it better. Mind you, I don't use the mic all that often so the overall sound quality is fairly good for me. As for the harsh earpads, if you live in tropical country like malaysia, the earpad is far better then leatherette earpad because it is breathable. Your head won't get sweaty even after a long session of game. I bought mine at RM 250 which is about the 66 USD, good value, but can be better.

I feel like such a loner here, but my friends and I all agree that pleather ear cups and headbands are inferior for gaming headsets (for our use). My room gets very hot during the summer months and leather just gets sweaty, sticky, and gross. And it causes me to break out. Velour is a bit better but it still gets kinda gross in my experience, does not breathe as spectacularly as the Logitechs, and is not convenient to clean like the Logitech ones. Much of this comes down to preference and application. I enjoy a good, supple leatherette on the HyperX Clouds, but when I have my headset on for 8+ hours a day, I like something different.

0:23 oddly unsatisfying

I had a really bad feeling about these the moment I saw them. That fabric looks like a dust/dead skin/dandruff magnet. I also don't like fake surround sound so its no surprise that this headset has crap digital surround. Best to just leave it on Stereo I guess. I've yet to wear a pair of headphones that delivery truly good digital surround AND deliver comfort. Good call on the packaging. Many brands are clearly targeting the younger market that thinks "cool packaging and looks = good product". Like you said, get your product right first, then focus on packaging. One thing I love about your videos is that you aren't afraid to say something negative about a product. Too many Tech RU-vidrs just say exactly what the manufacturer of the product they're reviewing wants them to say...sponsorship dollars? Finally, I've said this to you guys on Twitter already but damn your video production is looking really, really good. ;)

Just want to start with this: I think this is a great channel and the reviews are entertaining. About the fabric mesh material: It always amazes me how subjective things like this can be. When I first noticed years ago that Logitech started to use this fabric, I really got happy because I thought they found the perfect material for this purpose. I'm still using my relatively cheap 6 year old G430 almost every day, and I still think this is the best material choice for padding, also a lot more durable and breathable than the soft and peeling fake leather they often use on headphones. The feel of this material is also pleasent on the skin, nothing irritating and you are anyway not rubbing it on your head, which he mentions as a factor. Also, criticising the padding on the top doesn't make much sense, because it is as comfortable as any other headphone. Honestly, probably if you buy a 1k sennheiser, you won't get any more comfortable than this. The main downside of my G430 and Logitech's similar models were always the really bad durability of a certain plastic piece where the earcups connect to the headband. That cracks for many users, and you can find a lot of evidence about this on google. I fixed mine with some tinkering, but this is something to be careful about. So, my main concern is this little piece of plastic, but I'm optimistic because it finally looks different on the G433, hopefully making it less vulnerable. Another concern could be that they removed the simple dolby surround support in their software for the G433, leaving you with only DTS, which might not fit for some people. For example, on my G430, DTS sounds a lot worse in games than the simple dolby surround. Anyway, all in all, this headphone is also really aesthetic, without all the flashy BS, with a great shape language, and the fabric really just makes it look better.

black is never boring, is discrete and match with all others color without issues.

If you're gonna buy this headset, I recommend installing voicemeeter to increase the volume and to improve the sound quality. :)

i do love this headset, when you have think beard, any leather cups would tear slowly making your side-head full of small black leathery pieces. i always searched for fabric cups and this is amazing. the mic quality is fantasist btw

Normally I get migrains while using my headsets ( Plantronics 780 and Razer Kraken ) and I decided to give it a shot to this one and Oh boy I am really happy with the comfort, I can game like 4 hours straight without noticing them. This ones are my heroes :)

I appreciate the honesty of the review. This is a great video that clearly was not aimed with the short term goal of making money with the affiliate link. It comes off sincere and is honestly the best type of marketing as it instills trust in the audience for a bigger ticket recommend. I think this is a very good headset, with other headsets my facial hair (or stubble when cleanly shaven) would start eating through the material. I'm using the "sandpaper" cups and they feel great, no chance that the material will get ruined from facial hair. I think he said the cup padding is poor because the headset shipped pretty tight for me, but after a couple of days of using the headset it stretched out a bit and now feels great. The top padding also feels fine, i don't feel anything on the top of my head so i don't know why he complains about that either. One of my favorite things about the headset is the look, i can easily wear these out without the headset looking like its only made for gaming Im sure you can find a better headset for $100, but i paid $65 for the black on amazon, i don't think you can find better for that.

just got myself a G433 . . comparing to my Corsair Void RGB (dying battery) and audio technica m50x (leather ear cup with nasty chipping), G433 headset is build to last, and design with practicality in mind (shown clearly with all the attachment which comes together with the headset). no RGB or other useless "gaming" BS. the sound quality is spot on as well, the sound signature is very suitable for long listening session, the produced sound causing very little listening fatigue compare to other expensive audiophile headset. too bad 7.1 is not my thing so i turn it off , but still, its there and can be switch on whenever i feel like using it. both ears wont feel like heating up much as well, thanks to the mesh type material, so again i not sure why people are complaining bout it. a great headset with great quality and value.

I'm late here but I'll share my thoughts on this headphone that I use daily for almost 2 years. This headphone fits all my purposes. It has good surround sound, the mesh ear cup is very comfortable for someone like me living in a hot country and it's very portable. I can use this headset for 8 hours straight and not getting sweaty ears. The build quality is decent but I'd say it's quite durable despite being made out of plastic since I accidentally sat on this headphone many times and still survives (No cracks or whatsoever. Still in a good shape) . The only major drawback is that the mic is definitely trash but I never once use the mic even though I own the headset for almost 2 years. xd Overall, it's not really a bad headset. If you're looking for a headset to be more breathable like the mesh ear cup, portability and decent surround sound, this can be a good option for you. Also note that I bought this on sale in store for $60 which is a steal. :3

I had a pair and they were one of the best headsets I've ever owned, and also didn't feel like sand paper at all in fact there are super comfy

"This guy" is Jensen, the midlaner for Cloud9's League of Legends team and one of the best LoL players in NA.

One of best entry level headset since it comes with replacement for free, 2 cables (2.1/7.1) and the extra ear pad for critical times or when you need to clean the main one.

Instead of that I buy an HyperX Stinger which is a bit cheaper but better

it all comes down to personal preference. watching this video with my Logitech G433 headset with surround sound enabled and i kinda dig it. relatively cheap, portable, modular and yes, the earcups are way more breathable than my Razer Kraken Pro V2 of which it gets pretty hot pretty quickly. so to me, this Logitech G433 headset is much more comfortable to use for longer periods of time compared to my Razer headset.

The OG headphones such as the ones for old Sony Walkmans had earpieces covered in a fabric, though it was more of a cushy foam.

Logitech dropped the ball on what could have been a great product.

I was close to getting these headsets, but now after seeing this, no way ill wear them if they feel like scratchy near my ear.

Literally no reason to buy over Hyper X's offerings.

I bought some Razer Kraken Pros v2 and was a bit unsure due to Razer usually being expensive for the name but can honestly say they are well worth the money. Audio quality on point, mic is clear and can comfortably wear them for at least 4 hours. Recommend to anyone wanting a sub $100 headset 👍

Not buying a Gaming Headset anytime soon - after my hyperx clouds died i only use earpods and monitors built in speaker for half a year - then bought a used HD800 + Modmic 4.0 after seeing Dmitri's combo not even thinking of going back to the clouds - the only drawback is the weight but it doesn't really matter since I think it made it feel more robust

It can be a conceivable upgrade for us G230 users (especially once I started to invest in more advanced gears like the G810 and G403), but as it still can work (and had it replaced recently due to microphone boom being too loose and hard to open up and fix), I wouldn't get it soon... But who knows, my warranty ends in 17 months, if it dies, it can be the perfect time to upgrade. By the way the older Logitech G stuffs sold in Singapore came with THREE-YEAR warranty, now there's only two... I only bought that for $79 Singapore bucks....

Another garbage gaming headset

First of all, I'll get to the nitty-gritty. The G433 is actually good, especially for what they are designed for. These pair of cans is actually godsent if you're living in a tropical country, I can easily wear them in public and not get a lot of attention. After only a week of usage, I actually liked my G433's more than my HyperX Cloud 2's and Core's due to its comfort and actually better positional audio in a lot of games. The negative to the G433 is that you need to tweak the EQ profile and Quality type (which is a fix to its low volume output) to really bring out its potential and another negative is also the modularity, if you are not a careful person you might lose the cables and mic. Overall, the mesh-fabric material works wonders during game session and commuting, its definitely worth it for what it's worth.

I’ve had these for 5 years, And I completely love them. I’m a fps gamer and alot of people ask me when i kill them “What headphones you got” cause i can hear them run from the other side of the map “depending on the game”, some people call me a cheater. Now after 5 years the side of it fell off and i had to glue them back together after i did that i saw a crack on the other side and after 2 months they fell off too so i did the same thing. I will admit 3/5 years ago i used to rage alot with the games i played, And slammed my headphones many times😂. But don’t worry my headphones still work completely fine, If they do eventually break i will buy another one fs

Listening through my brothers broken pair he gave me me, trying to decide whether or not I should get a new pair, I really like headphones that will stay tight on my head forever. These broken ones aren't tight so you can't hear them properly unless you press them into your ears now sadly :( I wish I could get new things lol, one day.

sounds like the Corsair void is better, for being $79 ($59 when I got mine) the cloth is fantastic, surround sound is fantastic, mic is better than this, and the build quality is overall pretty good

I just saw these on display today at the local Best Buy. I have to strongly disagree with you on the fabric and padding quality. It felt very good to me. Did not buy them yet, so cannot speak to the DAC, mic or overall sound. My G430's had a weaker mic, so I hope this is not true again. WOW so mean to the feel and they felt great. I would say a much better build quality than the last gen, again have not heard them soooo....., but the I think they will last much longer than my G430's did, which was 2 years before one of the joints broke.
