This scene was so heart-felt. Teri did an excellent job making us feel her love for Clark, her sadness from misisng him and thinking she might never see the love of her life again.. those tears were felt through the tv.
I feel compassion for her... she can't face her loss quite yet. That is how to deal with great loss...Just walk through it hoping beyond hope. Prepare yourself, but don't give up hope.
I really admire how the Lois character was developed over the course of this show... as a person trying to pick up my writing, again, she's a real writer's accomplishment. It is a challenge to show how a woman matures into a wife and help mate for her husband, especially, one who has so many complexities in his life. I would have loved to watch how they showed her grow into her mother role... That is one of those things we will never see because of the horrid mess Hollywood has become.
totally agree, the last seasons had an amazing writing in human content and their story together. It has a different tone from the two before but that because they also changed as characters, it's great. TV and series today are another thing, we do not have that kind of quality and commitment anymore.
@@kekamixi I don't know how they did it. I admire who ever worked to keep some continuity and cohesion to the story. I love the first two seasons but the more serious tones of some of the later shows are endearing, also. I miss some of the earlier characters. Cat Grant was necessary comic relief. The one thing I admire most is they showed how to write a female Character who isn't just a damsel in distress OR the other extreme, a man with woman body-parts, who can body slam a man twice her size. She begins a smug, disillusioned feminist who thinks every man is the same, but, that isn't how she ends - she's multiple dimensional 😅😉. She becomes more mature over the 4 seasons. She learns wisdom. They showed the Heroic journey of a woman - what a woman can become. Being a wife and mother is not demeaning. It is a wonderful adventure. Modern Hollywood can't seem to even try that every woman Character in modern movies has no life arc.
