I've always had the weird idea of putting Conkeldurr in Smash also as a disjointed superheavy, the idea of smacking someone around with giant concrete pillars is too appealing.

I love the idea of adding random Pokemon to Smash, I once made a moveset for Dracovish, my favourite Pokemon. I love the moveset too, I was NOT expecting it to be that big. I can easily see myself maining them.

General Thoughts - Kleavor himself: certainly not my first choice to represent Rock or Bug in Smash (in part for being part of a family started in Kanto which I still think has received enough attention to let Gen 2/3/5/etc. get fighter in the next Smash), but you did a great job here! From giving Fury Cutter a key role in countering his bigger cons in a way that rewards good play, to traits that homage his game & boss fight very well, to great costumes & everything between, I really hope that he either gets in someday or at least someone gives him a mod for one of the existing Smash games - Congrats on the game dev job, hope the work in Sweden treats you well, and I hope we still get nuggets from you when you can - be it smaller vids or devlogs for the game you'll be working on!

Viridi: It is said that he is the guardian of The Obsidian Feilds of Hisui, or Sinnoh in the modern day. Pit: Sinnoh was Hisui? Palutena: In the Meiji era, yes. Pit: I wonder what Skyworld world be called in a different era, how about....Pizzaduas? Viridi: Oh pit, you always think about food. Palutena: Pizzaduas....has a nice ring to it. Anyway, Klevor uses his axe to deal massive damage. He can also shoot rocks at you. Pit: So I just need to dodge those, and find an opening, got it. Ooohh! Maybe the Underworld can be called Gyrosland. Viridi: Gyrosland? Really?

My current pokemon pick for smash would probably be Tinkaton. It's one of those weird Pokemon, but it's not completely forgettable like Squawkabilly or something. And most importantly, I think it could have a pretty fun moveset with just swinging that giant hammer around. Though Chien-Pao could also be pretty good, being the best of the 4 ruinous legendaries.

Solely due to the bit about it hurling the hammer at Corviknight I imagine Tinkaton being able to throw and recall the hammer like Mjolnir. Yes Sakurai, Please do give us Tinkerbell Thor.

I feel like it's actually one of the most popular mons from Paldea. And I completely adore it. Having a zany, unpredictable, light hammer user would be a great change of pace from King Dedede.

Kleavor's boxing ring title would be "Lord of the Woods" and his victory theme would be a japanese remix of the pokemon victory theme. I would also like to know what the Palutena's Guidance, and victory animations would be. I also made lists for the music tracks and spirits. I'm considering doing a whole video about Rotom in Smash. I think it has a lot of things going for it from its different forms to its increased relevance in recent titles (being your PokéDex in gen 7 and your phone in gens 8/9) to its ties back to Pulseman (a Genesis game that Gamefreak released in their pre-Pokémon days). I know it might not seem as gratifying as including a Pokémon from an as-of-yet unrepresented gen but I know that Smash tends to prioritize characters that they feel have a future with their respective franchises and I think Rotom is a pretty safe bet in that sense.

YES! Gah I wish Pokemon characters were more obscure in Smash, it'd make it so much easier to stomach how arbitrary they always feel. Like, why put in a starter? The simple fact they are a starter *already* guarantees them popularity, you are *already* going to sell a bazillion pieces of merchandise revolving around that character, they don't *need* to be in Smash. Why not think outside of the box and grab a Pokemon that wouldn't be popular otherwise? A Pokemon who would never be in the spotlight without appearing on such a grand stage? It'd make the Pokemon roster sooooo much more interesting to a point that I might even start caring about getting new ones in the next installment! Like, is Incineroar a fun design in Smash? Absolutely. Would I trade it for, I dunno, Palossand? Or Drampa? WITHOUT HESITATION!

I love when people request weirder, more uncommon characters. Kleavor is the perfect description of this, it's great you decided to make this moveset. On another topic, glad you're back, can't wait to see what else you put out. (Okay, made this comment before watching the full video, but if this is your last video then it's fine, at least I'm glad to have seen all of your great videos... Tbh designing Pokémon characters for smash is just fun, like most cases you have a wide movepool to take inspiration from, gimmicks or mechanics from either specific moves or even new ones like lucario’s aura that could just make some sense for the character. And there’s plenty of inspiration you can take just from a Pokémon’s species or design. I remember wanting to make a moveset for midnight Lycanroc based around counterattacks, since while definitely a part of a lot of smash, they never really get a lot of focus besides incineroar. As in most counters don’t serve a big role in most characters kits.

I'm not sure how you pulled of a better moveset for a niche Pokémon like Kleavor, than _any_ of the official Smash movesets for highly-marketable Pokémon like Lucario and Incineroar (not saying their movesets are bad), but you did. And I love it.

For the first question, I think my life would become a lot more difficult. I wouldn’t be able to drive, cook, type, or do most of the things I enjoy, and would likely become very depressed. For the second question, Mimikyu.

I thought I was the only one who thought of adding Kleavor to Smash for the reasons you listed. I also like how you used When Johnny Comes Marching Home when describing his normal moves. Not sure why you did that exactly, but I like it!

Thanks for the comment. Idea behind using 'When Johnny Comes Marching Home' was that I first heard it as a song for kids called 'The Ants Go Marching' so when I was looking for insect battle music it felt like a natural fit.

I have no idea how it’d work but I’d love if they just randomly chose Tandemaus for the next smash game as a fighter. All I have in mind is that randomly upon respawn they’ll have fucked off screen and become Maushold… That must sound insane out of context

Oh man! Increíble work on the video. The only moveset detail I would touch is to change Fury cutter to down special and close combat to side, because most of the "status changing" moves are down. But the complete set is amazing. I love the idea of it being able to crank up his damage output by playing "safe" but still on the offensive.

This was really well done! I never really took Kleavor too seriously as a potential fighter, as I personally prefer other Pokemon that were introduced via Legends Arceus (Like Hisuian Zoroark, Sneasler or a Hisuian Trainer), but seeing it laid out (and with great animation work to boot), I'd definitely be all for it. While Legends Arceus is more than likely going to be left behind in the past, the least I can say is that if we ever do get a Pokken 2, Kleavor would be a great choice for a fighter. As for what Pokemon I'd put in? Weavile, because I'm heavily biased and I hate the fact that Chien-Pao exists.

How about instead of Close Combat, the move could be called "X-Scissor" (a name that would fit pretty well, but can actually be learned by Kleavor in the games). Also, I feel like having it go off ledges would be way too dangerous... Like how Captain Falcon and Ganondorf's side specials used to drop you off the ledge in helpless mode back in Brawl. Even if Kleavor didn't go into helpless mode, he would still be in a terrible position (especially if it was a stage like Final Destination, where he could end up stuck below the stage). What would be cool is if Kleavor could do a wall cling... But on the CEILING, and then he could jump _sideways_ (similar to Corrin's side special but without a hitbox). That would be cool.

This is the video that finally got me to subscribe to you. Your art is super fun to look at, you're really good at jokes, and at this point, I think you could sell me on anything becoming a Smash fighter. As for what Pokemon I would put in Smash, I would absolutely put in Dragapult. It's been my 1st choice for a Galar 'mon for years, not because Pseudo-Legendaries or Ghost-types deserve representation or any dumb stuff like that, but because it's a stealth fighter dragon.
