To many stupid people commenting on this. This is a FANTASTIC firework display. This show set the bar REALLY high! I can't wait to see what they do for 2019! Let's hope 2019 is the year people wake the hell up and start treating humans with humanity!

The 2018-19 display, looking back, wasn’t as good, in my opinion. My favourites will always be the 2014-15 and 2016-17 events.

How do you want to see the fireworks with the London eye, unable to see the detail in the fireworks for a trade off of being able to see the London eye easily or being able to see the London eye while being blinded by the fireworks that have no details because they are over exposed

The 4K works perfectly here - should be integrated into the BBC sooner rather than later and older 4K TV models should become compatible also

did you know the BBC film a lot of their own documentaries on RED 8k cameras, I seen in one of their documentaries that they were filming the whole lot on RED 8k cameras since i noticed the logo of the camera and it had 8k on the side.

Hey, BBC crew. I have a suggestion to make about this video. Next time, do not make the lights dimmer, The live version of this show and it's lighting level were good. So, next time please have a video with these camera angles but without the dimmer lighting

the cameras they used here are different to the main broadcast cameras and they seem to have much poorer low light performance, probably why it was just a test.

I never deserved to see this one on a 4 inch screen... I deserved to be there in person for this 2018 fireworks display in London. 💔 If time travel was possible for me, I’d go back in time to this event, travel back in time to London on 31 December 2017, 2300 hrs and relive it in person rather than on a 4 inch phone screen. 🕚🕛

In terms of the fireworks - the music here is brilliant which makes a big impact. The 2019 display is probably better but the poor choice of music brings it down significantly

the 2019 display was quite political, and the lack of the traditional mind the gap kinda kills it, but damn that was a brilliant show, even better than this one imo simply because it had a bit more of a grand bang at the end.

The shell building was scaffolded and they figured out what number could fit the 2nd digit and that’s 1 so they thought to start from 19 but started from 15 as more of a round number
