The pump crew are sent to standby in the Kent countryside. From series 4, episode 4 (1991). londons-burning.wikia.com/wiki... I do not own this programme. London's Burning is copyright Network DVD and London Weekend Television.
London's Burning was on Dutch tv years ago. I still vividly remember some characters like Sicknote, Bayleaf, Poison. Several other characters in this scene I recognize on the spot. Very nice. A very good scene. Shows how even professionals make mistakes sometimes.
If it was purely London covering a job like this these days they’d be bollocks as LFB don’t carry Light Portable Pumps on the frontline machines anymore.
I do like London's burning, but one thing that always gets me is how the rules of physics don't apply. I promise anyone watching, when a firefighter sprays a fire with water, the fire does go out. Otherwise fire engines wouldn't bother carrying hoses and water. 😂😂😂
the volunteers got the older uniforms as they weren’t as big as the regular firefighters which were given new uniforms first because they needed them more same with fire engines the volunteers got the old ones for a bit
Believe it or not the Londons burning cast got the uniforms and helmets before the actual brigade, the brigade were issued the jackets first in 1991 and the helmet and leggings in 1992
+john foxall There was a large shout happening which a large number of Kent Fire Brigade attended, London Fire Brigade and Retained firefighters stood by to cover for them. And a good job they did too.
@@satanicpoet5093 no that's not practical if shrapnel pings at the flash hood it will Pearce right threw round helmets are better because they have a light
