My Mum's BMW 4 series had park assist. In the whole 4 years she owned it we used it once. It was a RHD drive car and we drove it to Paris, which is famous for its bad parking. So being on the wrong side of the car we used it and it worked perfectly! It was genuinely useful that one time.

Fun Video. The 812 GTS for the win. To me the best part of that amazing car was that it did not include the poseur shields. The shields disrupt the visual lines of most Ferraris, plus they are an all out cash grab from a company legendary is grabbing cash from their customers.

The 812 GTS is in Rubino Metallic. There was a SF90 Stradale recently sold in the same colour but that had Chocolate Leather interior. Stunning specs on both..

Very cool at the beginning to have Wimbledon referenced. I'm here in FL watching The Championships as I'm watching your video. I've actually stood on Centre Court way back in 1981. One of my most treasured memories. Another cool video and I agree, parking assist is Wizardry

I was at Roman’s 2 weeks ago .. the stock is always wow ! I have park assist on my Mercedes. Scary at first but once u get used to it, its great for parallel parking 😊

Excellent content lately, Sam! Especially your Mille Miglia endurance race. Talking of intelligent parking systems, I've ordered a top spec Kia Sportage which has a Tesla-like summon feature- albeit only forwards and backwards, allowing me to manoeuvre the car in and out of tight spaces using the remote alone.

After I drove a friend's Enzo from Monaco, with the gearbox remap to the same gearbox configuration as the 599 GTO, I was completely in love with the Enzo! I can't see one that the other cars disappear! Really great content mate!

seems like a gimmick but I actually use the auto park in my X3 quite regularly when I particularly can't be bothered to parallel park and it always does the job very nicely! Feels very futuristic and luxury too, the car parking for u because it would be too much of an inconvenience to do it yourself

I had a Lexus LS460 for 4 years that self parked. I rarely used it. The car could guide you into your bay so it was easier to just do it yourself

Great episode. Yes, the park assist is wizardry and might remove stress, but it also removes the skill of parking. Eventually, if it fails, drivers won’t know how to park the car. What then?

I use BMW's self parking and back up assist in my new M240i💜. Works really well most the time and just becomes part of every day driving.

Having the Manual Ferrari to satisfy your three-pedal appetite, I would go PDK on your GT3...it makes it a more usable car every day as well as when you're on track or having fun with it. I know it doesn't please the internet, but you've never been the "click bait" RU-vidr anyway so to hell with them!

Be careful what you wish for. Next comes the fully autonomous driving experience making the driver redundant. For those of us who enjoy driving as well as being able to park I’m not so enthusiastic about this technological progress. When technology can prevent the careless from opening their doors into mine, that’ll be something to shout hooray about. Great video as always.

I saw that chrome-wheeled 812 up close at Goodwood and I have to say that while the colour is lovely, I'm really not a fan of the wheels or the wooden steering wheel.
