Thanks so much for the compassion. I'm on my second infection with the first in 2020 and the second Dec 2022. I know the anxiety makes matters worse. My GP tells me to take SSRI's since being a fraction my my former self makes me sad/anxious, but I'm not sure about that one. I take many different supplements with some help, hoping for a miracle I guess. 🙏

Long covid made my cortisol very high. It was not emotional anxiety at all. I’ve actually learned to be calm through some of the worst symptoms and pain of my life . I took ashwaganda for a year, which lowered the cortisol some . I also have been wearing compression stockings for 3 years now during the day which made a huge difference by not over working my heart trying to get blood. Huge game changer for long covid “ anxiety” was taking b1 everyday, and drinking elemental heal drinks to get better nutrition.
Thanks for being here and sharing what worked for you @MyForestNymph! I hadn't heard about compression socks. I love when I learn new insights from my community. What made you try B1 versus a B complex?
@dawnowens2345 Thanks for being here. Sorry that you are feeling terrified! Yes, you can definitely have PTSD for all that you have gone through. I cover PTSD and some helpful tips here: ru-vid.com/video/%D0%B2%D0%B8%D0%B4%D0%B5%D0%BE-5ji9zbE3cmU.html.
Lori, I'm glad you are making it through my videos. Yes, it's your nervous system that is under attack. The shingles virus has been known to cause TMJ. If you haven't already, check out my recovery guide to help get you started > anxietydepressionrecovery.com/
Thanks for being here @Healing.Tortruer. I have seen people get long covid with or without the vaccine. I have seen people who were seemingly healthy before they got covid and others with preexisting health conditions. I have not yet found one thread that ties together people who get long covid vs others that don't. There may be a constellation of factors.
