I liked the Nacimento more, but they're both great. And the regular Reposado is solid and enjoyable

I love Ocho. It’s always light and elegant. Clearly the work of a master. The Nacimiento Widow Jane is unique and delicious. I’m glad they’re making more.

Yes amazing Reposado for sure. I prefer the original but they both amazing. Even this regular Cerro Del Gallo Reposado that we threw in, is very good

Just bought the 2022 Widow Jane Anejo. Goes for 80US in Baja. Will you guys be doing a tasting on it? I will give my tasting notes on Tequila 101 soon.

Just to clarify, Nacimento and Gallo are two different Ocho fields in Widow Jane Oak?

Yes, two separate blanco tequilas from separate agave fields, that were put into the same exact Widow Jane barrels as the first batch

My bottles of batch 2 are both over 25k so definitely more produced. I have too many open but I'll try it pretty soon. Loved the first one

Yeah hard to get an answer out of the brand on exactly how many bottles were made in batch one. Some people feel they made a second fill for the first batch. Either way, that's a high number, but regardless, I love the Nascimento

Watching Aged_Agave Greg and Long Island Lou Tequila is a master class in Tequila. More information in a few minutes than other so called "influencers" do in an hour of rambling on. My palate is getting better because i basically had the same opinion on the tastes of the 2. But i did prefer the Gallo that i found had a bit less bourbon taste. Both WINNERS. Salud ❤

Yes you're right, Gallo did have less bourbon taste, my guess is because the barrels were more worn than the original batch. Thank you Bob for the kind words.
