I’m afraid we won’t be getting an update. I was really hopeful and looking towards seeing this finished. I’m starting to think this is just one of those channels that is headed in the right direction, then just dies… Sad to see.
Hey Tommy, hope all is well. Would love to see an update on the truck. Completely understand though that life gets in the way at times. Good luck to ya.
Dang just found this channel, looks like an awesome build, would love to see it done! Maybe he just got tired of making videos hopefully. Please post an update on this sweet S10!
Hey Tommy, really looking forward to another update when you have the time. Chin up on the lack of motivation. We've all been there... and for myself and my son we're just getting started on an S10 / LS swap project. Keep us motivated brother while you finish your project and bring awesome content to your channel. Would really like to see how you finish out the A/C hoses and, perhaps, how the truck is running on the smaller P/S pulley.... as well as buttoning up loose ends on this really cool project of yours. My son and I are more / less copying you on an 86 build. We are going to use the C5 corvette spaced accessory drive, LS2 water pump, Sanden S7, etc. We are also going to go with Dakota Digital so will be some wiring fun which I enjoy. Take Care, all the best...
Enjoyed the update Tommy! Your gas door in the bed looks great! From up here in Canada, thanks for sharing your progress. My 91 S10 is currently sitting on jack stands as well, albeit much rustier than yours lol. All in due time! you've given me the motivation to get back in the shop and make some more progress on mine!
Core support look PRO bro! Fuel door looks killer! Having full functionality of the bed is awesome. Fuel cells / battery boxes are for race cars. Thanks for sharing.
Hey Tommy nice truck man like the video I used to have one just like it same here year same color wasn't as nice but I was working on making it nice and then transmission went bad had to sell it. Well keep up the good work man God bless you and yours peace out.
Suggestion-ditch the clutch safty switch and wire to the shifter. Starting with the clutch depressed loads the main thrust bearing while its dry. Nice job!
You must be in North Georgia... Doing a 5.3 swap in a 1995 S10 right now. Was wondering why you moved your fuel tank to the back, eliminating your spare tire mount if your wanting to use the bed to haul stuff. But your Doing a beautiful job on this truck.
Had my 1995 Linex, took out original plastic liner , Linex is great. Need to ask you about your Colorado. I'm considering buying a new one right now and was scared off by reports that GM is having major Transmission issues with all their truck models. Have you had any problems with yours ? And do you like yours ??
I'm picking up an LT1 L83 with a 6L80 next week. It's out of a 2014 Siliverado with 109,000 miles. A Texas truck and 2 WD. Those are kinda hard to find in the north.
