Long-range missiles: is this Putin’s red line?

Moscow has stripped six British diplomats of their accreditation. The UK Foreign Office has called the allegations of spying ‘completely baseless’, but what does the move mean for relations between Russia and the UK?
Alongside this, Keir Starmer is in Washington for talks with Joe Biden. It’s expected they will discuss Ukraine’s request to use long range missiles in Russian territory. Putin has said such action would mean Nato is ‘directly participating’ in the conflict - how will he respond if the US and UK cross another one of his red lines? How will Keir Starmer manage the problem? The Spectator’s assistant online editor Lisa Haseldine is joined by Mark Galeotti, professor and author, and Owen Matthews, journalist and historian.

Ukraine will be firing the missiles comrades, just like they are now on Russians in Ukraine, Russia has crossed every line of the West and then some, it doesn't observe any rules, it's foolish to make Ukraine not attack Russia with everything when Russia is attacking it with everything, It should be confined to military targets though but Ukraine already observes that, Russia do not comrades, if Russia dies retaliate in NATO with a direct attack, (It has already done so covertly) then it problems will worsen, it can't hold 20% of Ukraine at present and it's only going to get worse!?!

Expelling diplomats is not an escalation, it is what you do to communicate the seriousness of the bad behavior of an adversary. The Russian actions are normal and proper diplomacy. If you are willing to lie online about the role of the US CIA in cooperation with Mossad & MI6 on the world stage, then you don't belong on a talk show, you should be working for those agencies. We do know how a negotiated settlement will pan out, the Russians have described their minimums, and that's how it will pan out. Putin's rhetoric has been so consistent over the long term that yes he can be taken at face value. If his rhetoric is rougher than in late Soviet times perhaps that's because a war of choice has been started against his country ostensibly by US Think Tankers and Wall St. Why ask these guests what they think?? Do they think at all? This guest has no idea if the most advanced US weapons require expert NATO personnel to operate just because the Russian President, former director of their whole intelligence services says so. Why have this puppet on? Where's a guest who will talk seriously about this horrific war of choice foisted on Moscow? They will eventually, after the war is over & risk of career blowback passes

Peace will only happen if Trump stops Obama stealing another term from him using voter fraud, ballot fiddling, illegal migrants voting criminally and fraudulent counting machines. Democrats, RINOs and political puppets of the global socialist elites who control the West all have their snouts in the trough of BlackRock, VanEck military investment funds and weapon manufacturers like Lockheed, Boeing, Raytheon, Halliburton etc who share values and dividends need a perpetual state of wars globally. As Mitch McConnell said all the money sent to Ukraine is coming back to these politicians as Ukraine has to buy weapons from these companies. If you want to get rich just be a coat tail investor of Nancy Pelosi, Biden, Clintons, Obama - all these war mongers who get rich war-mongering in illegal wars of regime change to install socialist puppets for the NWO elites, and to steal resources - oil and minerals for batteries for their electric vehicles and solar/wind energy storage. The Nazi EU dominated by Germany annexed Ukraine in 2014 completing Hitler's plan of expansion to the east, but Ukraine is rich in minerals, cheap energy and grain/food which these Nazis hope to deprive of the Russian CIS.

Anything but the narrative is appeasement, anyone against the policy is hitler. This is why you re losing the argument and people are finding out this narrative is utter nonsense.

When Putin loses the war in Ukraine, I think Russia should be forced to give freedom to its colonies such as Siberia, the Southern Islamic states and the former Swedish Empire states around St Petersburg, as well as the occupied states such as Georgia.

@@johnwoods7650 Lay off the drugs. You are hallucinating if you think it is possible that Russia will lose. That's the sort of delusional thinking that is moving us closer and closer towards World War III. Russia is not going to put up with us attacking it for much longer without responding with an overwhelming show of force and devastation. And no rational person wants to be on the receiving end of that.

@johnwoods7650 Johny Woodie, should Russia also pull the remains of British Island after its nuclear strike? You probably know that Russia is a nuclear power and it will use its nukes in case of existential threat. Now go and compare England territory vs. the Russian one. Only one Russian Sarmat - and, oops, G.Britain is gone. Sad, isn't it?
