Part 2 of this project covers "corpsing" the pumpkin using plastic and a heat gun.
ATTENTION!!! - Some of the techniques I show in this video could result in serious burns so it's probably best to wear gloves instead of using bare hands as I did when handling the hot plastic wrap. I've been doing this for a while and have a good feel for how much I can heat the plastic before it becomes too hot to touch and have developed the bad habit of not wearing gloves. Do as I say not as I do! WEAR ADEQUATE HAND PROTECTION!!!
Another consideration is to not melt the wires as you cover them. Once this is all done you will not be able to easily get to the wires to make repairs if you melt the insulation and cause a short.

A good welding glove would let you sculpt by hand while the plastic was hot.

Yea, I've gotten pretty lax about safety when I do plastic corpsing lol. On the up side, I've done it enough that I have a pretty good feel for when to touch it and when not to and rarely burn myself anymore. I'm an idiot sometimes. lol I don't even think about it anymore after all those hours and weeks doing the arch.
