Lovely Video clip! Forgive me for chiming in, I would appreciate your thoughts. Have you tried - Conabel Muscle Marmsome (should be on google have a look)? It is a great one of a kind product for learning how to memorise anything minus the headache. Ive heard some pretty good things about it and my friend Sam after a lifetime of fighting got excellent success with it.

how can apply this mind palace technique to my medical course!?? or this mind palace technique is just for facts and not for concepts??
@jamesweigand4212
@jamesweigand4212 4 года назад
Works fine for concepts. Think of a word that reminds you of many ideas. Consider you go to the store to get milk. Milk is all you need to remember to remind you of the dairy section, what size, what brand, what percentage fat etc.
@Yatukih_001
@Yatukih_001 3 года назад
You begin trying to outlaw exams from courses.Exams distract you from the overall course material. Assignments do not work either. You have to use diaries aimed towards remembering each subject you want to remember.

I understand this "mind palace trick", but all of you guys who teach it, you always give an example of something that can actually be imagined, but when am memorizing a biology book for example and it has got all of these weird parts, it's almost impossible to apply it. Can you actually show us what would you do with such situation. I want you to make a video that you get a weird and hard part and try to show us how would you do it. I almost forgot to thank you for the awesome videos ❤️
@JustusEiflerAutor
@JustusEiflerAutor 8 лет назад
Could you give an exampel? If youre talking about Biology, for example Evolution and you want to remember that evolution describes the gene pool adapting to the environment, you could picture a pool full of water inside a park with little dots or something similar representing genes, then you put that at a place in your palace.

Thank you Mr. White. Here's a question about the Mind Palace technique? If I need to associate 10 pieces of furniture with, say, the first ten Presidents. What if, later, I need to remember the fist ten vocabulary words in my Anthropology class--should I attempt to associate those words with the same pieces of furniture as before, or will that mess me up in some way? Thanks in advance! Take care!
@baibhavbistathegr8

You can actually use the same set of location for these topics/subjects as these are very different from each other; and you probably won't confuse the material of Anthropology with the Presidents' name.

hello, I am 45 years old, I have recently tried to memorize many Algorithm cases for solving 3x3 rubiks cube, each algorithm tackles a partial solving state that targets a particular position on the cube. Exampe of 1 case: [(y') U2 R2' U2 R U R' U R2] then I move on to the next partial solve. and so forth, I have managed to know such algorithms from my memory and can find them and even write them down, but what troubles me is the practical side of implementing these tasks. they are memorized but not memorized enough to be practically used. What other attributes/additionals of long term memory can be useful to me.

This information is not really new to me. I read Harry Lorraines books years ago, he talks about things like this, something very similar maybe with a different technique, but nothing so different that you don't know that they are the same idea. I think he really had some good ideas, but my problem is that being dyslexic, my brain doesn't seem to work like everyone eases, it has affected my life so badly, I can't function anymore. I used to be a pretty good student for someone with dyslexia, I worked hard, then I was diagnosed with sever major depression and several anxiety disorders, and take lots of medications which do very little. The dyslexia, and the depression and anxiety along with the long term effects of these medication that I have to take, have made my mind almost useless, even trying to use techniques like this, don't help much. Any thought's about what someone in my situation can do? I am thinking of starting to eat much more brain health food, I am trying to do puzzles and games and things that are at least fun, and not daunting and don't get me down because I can't do them, but I do try to keep increasing the difficulty of them, but I don't feel that it has had any effect. Help!

Security Guru i don't speak englisah, I can understain but to write in english is very dificult to me, but i will try help you. You need to do deport activitis and social activititis for depress and relaxing or meditation for anxiety. A psychology cap help you it, better if use the hynosis and training to you in autohypnosis, especialy for anxiety. The depress is exencialy no-activytis, lonely, and no-pleasure and anxiety is hiperactivation or fear to tingh. This memory thecnic can help you whit dixlexia but you need to do the other thigh. I hope you undertain it. Sorry for my bad english
