Lovely Video clip! Forgive me for chiming in, I would appreciate your thoughts. Have you tried - Conabel Muscle Marmsome (should be on google have a look)? It is a great one of a kind product for learning how to memorise anything minus the headache. Ive heard some pretty good things about it and my friend Sam after a lifetime of fighting got excellent success with it.
I Dont know how to thank mr White , you are a inspiration for me , im folloing your videos since 2 months and i get used to practice most of things that you talks about and it works very good , i am now better in everything what im doing in life . in exams i got perfect scores and im going to finish my medicine study in oktober . Thanks alot for every thing , god bless you . best regards from saudi arabia .
That memory palace thing, where you have to imagine stuff, is really helpful especially when you have Aphantasia (aka you can’t picture things in your mind) 😂👏
Yeah in real life i live in 1 room apartment and theres not much stuff to make a palace lol so i had an idea yestursay. I have started playing The Sims 4 and builded stuff and furnitures and making a mind palace in the game lmao.
Hey Mr. Ron, I really enjoy watch you and Anthony Metivier when you spoke on his Channel. I am curious about something: When will you turn the Tables on Anthony? Awesome videos as always. I just needed a way to contact you that’s why I used this video to do that. I understand you’re a busy person. Peace out. Your friend/student Bill.
I love your videos, Ronnie. So many great graphics, too. I bet that takes a bunch of time in post-production, so I really appreciate you putting in all of that energy.
Fantastic tips to develop memory. One thing I would say I think it is better to use positive visualisations and emotions rather than negative and fearful ones. I highly appreciate the technique.
Works fine for concepts. Think of a word that reminds you of many ideas. Consider you go to the store to get milk. Milk is all you need to remember to remind you of the dairy section, what size, what brand, what percentage fat etc.
You begin trying to outlaw exams from courses.Exams distract you from the overall course material. Assignments do not work either. You have to use diaries aimed towards remembering each subject you want to remember.
Hey Ron sir, this is something great excellent outstanding I like it very much,Unlimited I don't believe but still I trust in you,I apply your techniques when it get released,It gives Unbelievable result,Time to apply this one. Keep it up great Channel.Take care sir.
Thank you I still learning something new about brain functionality on your channel. New information is very useful for brain:) and has very good impact on it.
I understand this "mind palace trick", but all of you guys who teach it, you always give an example of something that can actually be imagined, but when am memorizing a biology book for example and it has got all of these weird parts, it's almost impossible to apply it. Can you actually show us what would you do with such situation. I want you to make a video that you get a weird and hard part and try to show us how would you do it. I almost forgot to thank you for the awesome videos ❤️
Could you give an exampel? If youre talking about Biology, for example Evolution and you want to remember that evolution describes the gene pool adapting to the environment, you could picture a pool full of water inside a park with little dots or something similar representing genes, then you put that at a place in your palace.
Repetition seems to be the most effective tip to me cause its hard to memorize such an essay like answer!!! also for emotion and action I don't really have that good imagination and reaction or feelings to things!😔
Thank you Mr. White. Here's a question about the Mind Palace technique? If I need to associate 10 pieces of furniture with, say, the first ten Presidents. What if, later, I need to remember the fist ten vocabulary words in my Anthropology class--should I attempt to associate those words with the same pieces of furniture as before, or will that mess me up in some way? Thanks in advance! Take care!
You can actually use the same set of location for these topics/subjects as these are very different from each other; and you probably won't confuse the material of Anthropology with the Presidents' name.
Ha! Mind palace kinda reminds me Initializing a variable in computer programming. Thats what we do in order to teach a program where to store the data, what to store and give the data whenever I ask. So we humans are no different than the machines! :D This is pretty awesome! Thanks Ron for sharing your amazing experiences with us!
Hey Ron, can you help me on this? when I write a sentence on one of my furniture(actually my desk) in my mind , I only can recall the first word of that sentence. how can I remember full sentence? and another question is I have 15 pieces of furniture, is this enough?
hello, I am 45 years old, I have recently tried to memorize many Algorithm cases for solving 3x3 rubiks cube, each algorithm tackles a partial solving state that targets a particular position on the cube. Exampe of 1 case: [(y') U2 R2' U2 R U R' U R2] then I move on to the next partial solve. and so forth, I have managed to know such algorithms from my memory and can find them and even write them down, but what troubles me is the practical side of implementing these tasks. they are memorized but not memorized enough to be practically used. What other attributes/additionals of long term memory can be useful to me.
What i do to exercise my creativity is that i start to draw random lines on the paper, i make round, straight all over the place lines until it's started to look like something and then i go from there. Maybe it'll help you
hello ronnie. you know what is best think u have.? you read every comment and reply....this is too good. how you get the time in your busy schedule to ans your fans.... plz visit india once..
This information is not really new to me. I read Harry Lorraines books years ago, he talks about things like this, something very similar maybe with a different technique, but nothing so different that you don't know that they are the same idea. I think he really had some good ideas, but my problem is that being dyslexic, my brain doesn't seem to work like everyone eases, it has affected my life so badly, I can't function anymore. I used to be a pretty good student for someone with dyslexia, I worked hard, then I was diagnosed with sever major depression and several anxiety disorders, and take lots of medications which do very little. The dyslexia, and the depression and anxiety along with the long term effects of these medication that I have to take, have made my mind almost useless, even trying to use techniques like this, don't help much. Any thought's about what someone in my situation can do? I am thinking of starting to eat much more brain health food, I am trying to do puzzles and games and things that are at least fun, and not daunting and don't get me down because I can't do them, but I do try to keep increasing the difficulty of them, but I don't feel that it has had any effect. Help!
Security Guru i don't speak englisah, I can understain but to write in english is very dificult to me, but i will try help you. You need to do deport activitis and social activititis for depress and relaxing or meditation for anxiety. A psychology cap help you it, better if use the hynosis and training to you in autohypnosis, especialy for anxiety. The depress is exencialy no-activytis, lonely, and no-pleasure and anxiety is hiperactivation or fear to tingh. This memory thecnic can help you whit dixlexia but you need to do the other thigh. I hope you undertain it. Sorry for my bad english
Security Guru use dmt once or mushrooms, use them with someone who knows what hes doing. Also meditate. your brain is not broken you just think it is, and if you think it is it automatically is.
so runnie,i am studying some essential vocabs for TOEFL...should i repeat them as u said in vid to save them in my long term memory or there's a different way vor vocabs? I've forgotten them before :(
can you please tell me how to apply this technique into new language, i recently moved to Germany (7months ago) i started a month ago (realschule) high school, every thing is in German i am really confused, i would really appreciate if you could tell me how to use the mind palace in this particular case. thanks in advance.
this is an excellent technique, but sometimes i find it difficult to apply due to the large volume of information, since i am a law student. any ”special” advice for me?
Hi Ron am writing a social science test and I studied for 25 mins 2 times and took breaks and i understand everything ,our teacher said it will be easy and i find it easy so now do i carry on or ?
I have been trying to understand why does spaced repitition in better than repeating something over and over again without taking a break. Could it be because the brain synapses need time to connect and repeat something over and over again does not give the brain time to process new information or a new skill?Thank you
I can understand with vocabulary and poems but still cant get it with countries there are a lot of countries I cant make associations. Also English is not my native languages. So it is harder for me. Your videos are really great but I want to know how can you remember all world countries and their capitals. Thank you.
Please sir make a video on how to memorize chord progression on a song (by using Nashville numbers) on a full song, please on your next video I would like your help please, im having trouble memorizing it like 4156 6415, etc. Its different on Intro, chorus, bridge, and im like playing with many songs on my next gig~ (im beginner and its hard without notes)
E very G ood B oy D oes F ine.The acronym many students use for the lines of the treble clef is EGBDF- Every Good Boy Does Fine. The bottom line is E, then G, B, D, & F. This acronym, along with FACE gives you all the names of every note on each line and space note.
