Oh Barbara, you never fail to send me down memory lane when you film your car journeys. Sorry to hear you were unwell, but glad you resolved the issue. On your drive home, I realised you were on Avoca St and just before turning right for Bondi you passed a set of red brick units, No 61 I think. My mum and I rented there briefly. I went to the primary school directly across the road. I still remember learning smocking and made a nightie. Thankyou. Get well soon ❤

Hi Barbara, I thought for sure you were going to say you had gout in your foot, but thank goodness it's not that !! I've had to give my hand a rest from knitting these past days, it's been very sore. Luckily, I had a novel I wanted to read, so that's kept my mind off things. I've just purchased the Arne & Carlos 2024 xmas knitted balls and look forward to the KAL they do every Xmas, last year it was a beautiful norwegian Xmas stocking. I very nearly made the same mistake with the wording in the sock pattern myself. It was only the fact that the designer specified the instructions. Hope your feeling better, and WOW John, your crochet cardi is just amazing !! ❤

The Emergency Unit Dr recognised my foot problem (and after the CT Scan) as Tinea. A bad case of it with local swelling and pain. Im now on meds every Sunday for a month. And as Im over 70 the hospital system identifies me as 'elderly' which shocked me. Just so happy to have free medical/hospital care. Thank you so much for your kindness dear friend xx
