The 7.62x 51 was not subsonic I'm guessing? Anyhow does that still require normal NFA registration to be lawful to use for civilians? If so, what is the regulated serialized part the outer shell only? Basically, can the internals be replaced when needed or is the entire can junk and you have to do another NFA stamp again? It's just so absurd that PPE/suppressors are a regulated NFA tax'd accessory.
