Longest canoe race in the world, the Yukon 1000 

Follow Dan and Blake on the 2022 Yukon 1000 as they race from Whitehorse, Yukon Territories to the Dalton Highway bridge in Alaska. 1000 miles down the Yukon River surrounded by North America's last great wilderness. The mental and physical strain of this endurance race is intense as racers only rest for 6 hours a day in their mandatory stop time. The other 18 hours of the day are spent paddling as fast as they can to beat competitors to the bridge, where a beer and a firm handshake await.
