We set off in our cars at 1am, out of the city and into the desert. The sunrise greeted us 5 hours later and brought with it the dramatic red rock New Mexican landscape. The weekend skies were cut by a river of hot air balloons, and the city of Albuquerque is criss crossed by massive storm water management ditches. For a skater, particularly a surfskater this place is nirvana. You can ride for miles, carving hundreds of turns, without stepping off of your board once. To the incredible friends that joined us on this trip, those who filmed, supported, slammed into concrete, and laughed with us, thank you for the incredible rides and memories.
