The FDA recommends routine MRI screenings starting at 6 years post breast augmentation surgery. Unfortunately, most plastic surgeons rely on informed consent by the patient to 1) to become aware the recommends exists 2) self-manage the follow through

can full body mri scans not be used as a starting point ? meaning just a good to know and not rely on it unless the conventional methods confirm it. if one were to take it every 6 months or a year and find something growing rather quickly / abnormally - that can be checked in the gold standard manner. if something looks weird but has no symtoms and does not grow abnormally can be left alone ? i don't understand what is to lose getting a full body mri. and frankly 2,500 is a hamburger compared the insane medical costs. one ER nose bleed trip because of dryness caused me 2,500 (1,200 for visit and rest for blood work). What am i missing please ?

In US, we have this one comprehensive testing that detects supposedly 50 different cancers.. Do you have any info on that?
