Charles Brenner is only criticising David Sinclair because he sees him as a competitor to his own snake-oil. They are both aggressive frauds and deserve to be exposed. Brenner is also selling useless supplements through his company Chromadex.
how interested? I'm 50, motorcycle accident 1996, front left temporal lobe scar, ct scan hardly picked anything up. I would seizure every 10 mins if I'm not on the meds and I've been on all of them...currently on a combo. For me one big puff at night and my seizures have just about vanished the big ones are small and the small ones are gone. Been smoking it for about a year now. Praise ganja! Going to change back to mono therapy this week...hold thumbs ive had about 4000 seizures
can full body mri scans not be used as a starting point ? meaning just a good to know and not rely on it unless the conventional methods confirm it. if one were to take it every 6 months or a year and find something growing rather quickly / abnormally - that can be checked in the gold standard manner. if something looks weird but has no symtoms and does not grow abnormally can be left alone ? i don't understand what is to lose getting a full body mri. and frankly 2,500 is a hamburger compared the insane medical costs. one ER nose bleed trip because of dryness caused me 2,500 (1,200 for visit and rest for blood work). What am i missing please ?
Highly disagree with the blond guy. Delegating once health anxiety on somebody else is BY FAR the single most WORST action one can do for once health. Whether you look at long lived cancer survivors or people with remissions off any serious illment, these all were people who took their health in their own hands. Or how about the billion of men who delegated their health anxiety to the oh so educated cardiologist? Who gives you a statin that might at best prolong your life by 3 years, whereas a life style intervention directed by someone owning his health might give you 30 more years for cardiological problems. Or how about all the obese americans that trusted their governments with food choices for their kids at school? Why should delegating once heath anxiety to some startup working with wearables(running absolutely horrible unstable software) should be a better strategy? It's exactly the same mistake. Very bad advice!!
BS to David Sinclair, he is a false prophet that scammed GSK and millions of consumers. He missed his opportunity to work for Bernie Madoff i think. He is losing cred. Only sheep and charlatan follow him now.
Neurologists Vs Epileptics. Just feed people with very expensive pills with crazy side effects that effects day to day living. Epilim for example which is no longer being prescribed to children because it causes long term epilepsy. There are many that should be taken off the shelves due to the mass side effects. Btw it does work 👌
Bryan has self proclaimed results. There are no unbiased experts examining his data. And he looks sickly and middle aged. Yet, he tries to take pictures using lighting and camera angles to pretend like he looks younger. I’m not against him. But something is off with him. He’s too try hard.
Pills and supplements are not the way to health. They're for the ignorant, the gullible and the desperate. Humans are primates, primates are frugivores, ergo humans are frguivores...it's not all that complicated. We're designed to eat only raw fruits and tender leafy greens and a small percentage of nuts and seeds. By adopting this type of diet you will achieve the best health and longevity possible. And before anybody yells, "hey what about whole grains or sweet potatoes", sorry but they're acid forming foods we were never designed to eat and cooking them creates multiple toxic even carcinogenic substances including acrylamide and many others (don't believe me...look up the Heatox project in Israel). I know, it's an inconvenient truth but true nonetheless. However, don't take my word for it...try eating a raw vegan diet for a few months and tell me if you don't look and feel better than you have since you were a kid. You will likely feel worse at first for a bit because you're detoxing decades of toxic sludge from your system but if you can make it through this period you will eventually rise like the Phoenix. This all may sound strange or crazy but's that only because we've all been propagandized and poisoned since birth by people who want us sick and paying for drugs and procedures for the rest of our lives. You could also watch Food n Sport, Loren Lockman, John Rose, Gillian Berry, Raw Vegan Rising, Raw Intuition and other raw vegans spreading the message on RU-vid. Try to keep an open mind and look into it before you dismiss it. You'll be glad you did.

Sinclair is snake oil salesman of 21 century.. bombarding unsuspecting audience with cool sounding words like epigenetics, reprogramming, biohacking, he is peddling endless stream of bs, which never produced any meaningful result for maximum human life extension. He has stolen and diverted more money from good projects than anyone, yeh.. Defrauded GSK to the tune of $720m by selling them his 'proprietory' compounds like resveratrol, then GSK spend much more millions to replicate results and > zilch, nothing. It's not envy that other scientists have, it's sadness and indignation that such quack is allowed to operate openly and deceive people with his quackery, hiding behind prestigious name like Harvard
That's an interesting discussion. Thanks for sharing. I didn't know that David had Adam Neumann as a co-founder for one of his startups back then. P.S. Vivek Ramaswamy is another example of a founder cashing out before actually launching a product in his pharmaceutical startup.
Bryan Johnson has the ability to test whether anti aging is possible, and is sharing his results with the world for free. When you ask about motives, it doesn't appear to be money driven, but more of curiosity driven motive. All scientific minds are curious, and that curiosity can cause world changing events.
He's selling supplements now. Am not sure if you can really say anti aging is possible with only one person doing it and without a control for comparison. His protocol is also evolving so how do you establish causation?

Shrekli for president! Lol. Dude is so charismatic and brilliant. Yeah sure people love to hate him, but he could easily be just another suit that nobody knows about. Instead he’s a household name. It makes me sad the govt sacked his business career because I think he had loads of potential for major corporate innovations. He was so young in his executive career and accomplished much.

David Sinclair's enthusiasm and perhaps exaggeration... has helped facilitate more money to be invested in Longevity Science than any other modern scientist.... and he has redefined aging as a disease, something that can be cured. For this he should be applauded. I think other Longevity Scientists are envious of his success. Go David Sinclair! Can't wait to read your next book.

That only works short term. Once the general public realises he is a fraud, the investors will become extremely skeptical of anything having to do with anti-aging. Aubrey De Grey, on the other hand, has done much more for the field.
