I’ve owned the blue dial version since August. It’s been absolutely fantastic. I’ve owned Tudor, Omega, Breitling, Sinn, and this one keeps better time than any of those ever did. I bought this on the bracelet and I agree with Rob, the male end link definitely makes this wear larger. I wound up buying the blue strap option afterwards with the on-the-fly adjustable deployant and it’s perfect if you have an under 7” wrist.
As much as I definitely want a Batman at some point in my life, I imagine this is going to be my first GMT. The Seiko GMTs are much more affordable. But the design, number fonts, colors, finishing, and quality of the case and bracelet are more appealing to me in this package, and the movement also is better to boot. You're getting so much good stuff for $3K.
A great video, I'm familiar with this watch and still found myself enthralled by your presentation. Longines, style, quality, heritage and value for money, can't be beaten.
I've been thinking about picking up the Spirit chronograph for a little while, but this is brilliant. Big fan of moving the date to the 6 o'clock position.
Just bought this exact one. FedEx says I will be getting it tomorrow! Most expensive watch to date that I bought; brings my collection to 34 now. I have a disease called watch collecting!
This watch is fabulous. It does wear slightly smaller than a 42mm especially when on the leather strap which is superb. I have the anthracite dial with green bezel & gold Arabic numerals which is a fantastic colour combination. Completely happy with this purchase.
This is the Anthracite color model. I got this one. It is spectacular. I was going to get the Tudor GMT but couldn't get a hold of one and then I saw this and it was an easy decision.
Great review of a truly gorgeous watch. I have the standard Longines Spirit with the blue dial which I reviewed at the beginning of the year. At the time, I thought it was the most beautiful Longines watch I'd ever seen but this one is on another level and is even better looking which I did not think was possible! All the best. 👍
I wanted to buy another lux watch. Was looking at the Tudor BB58, the Breitling Super Ocean and then landed at this beauty, watched a bunch of vids like this one on RU-vid and said … let me see this watch in person, I was very surprised how beautiful this watch is, so much so I’m buying one next week, mine will be just like the one you’re holding .. 41 mm and in green. Stunning
I bought this one in all black. I love it but everyday I regret not having that green bezel just a little. If they would release an updated version with a transparent case back I’d probably buy it again. The Tudor black bay is very nice, but the Zulu is like looking up Yasmine Bleeth’s skirt
There are two ADs in my area and I’m hoping one of them has this exact watch because I want to buy it today. Chose this over the Tudor GMT. Edit: Got it. Beautiful. Worth every Penny and more.
These look great, though I've only gotten to try the 37mm and 40mm Spirit line on. I kind of hope they will come out with a Titanium version like they did for the 3 hander.
Hi rob to open the bracelet link what screwdriver size that I have to use? The screw is so tiny can't get it with my Bergeon 1.60. I love your chanel btw 😊🙏
Hey Rob, I have a question, do you have any experience with watches made by Filippo Loreti. I'm considering buying a chronograph from there site. Do they make good quality watches. Thanks in advance for any insight.
Lovely watch, EXCEPT for the male end link. That longboi looks completely unbalanced. If Longines fixes that (and shrink it to 40 mm) they may have to take my money.
Can it get any more generic than this? $3k ?? For what? Something that looks like a Hamilton for less than $1k....with a movement from same Eta parts Bin. What a Scam !!
Just stop dude…first, name one Hamilton that this looks like. (Spoiler: You can’t) The movement is also not just from the standard ETA parts bin. It’s completely exclusive to Longines and COSC certified.
