Longlegs Creepy Website Explained

No one has said this on any website I’ve seen, but I have a theory. I think Maika’s character is Nic Cage’s daughter. He is killing families that perhaps resembled his own- and he is angry about a divorce or separation from his wife and daughter. I only posit this because of the title. The only word association I have with long legs is “daddy long legs”-the spider. Just an idea.

The western Orgonian corridor is a prime location for a film like this. I lived in Umpqua Valley for a bit and although pretty, it's got some legit eerie vibes to it. It's the hinterlands of remote strangeness. Cults and familicide are shockingly common there.

It would really be wild if Longlegs ties back into Blackcoat's Daughter...that movie was awesome in its own right. Ozgood will definitely deliver with this to horror fans.

*_"DADDY"_* Longlegs are actually all *_"MOMMY"_* Longlegs! 😂 The spiders we all see; that we all call _"Daddy Longlegs"_ are actually *FEMALES!* The males in this type of spider, are so small, that we can't see them with our unassisted eyes! I haven't watched the film myself yet, so I wonder if this issue of the spiders actually being females, has anything to do with the plot of the film? If you've got any theorys about this movie, that relate to this aspect of the Daddy Longlegs spiders, and their extremely misleading nomenclature; I would definitely LOVE to hear them all! Oh, and dont forget folks - the next time you see a "Daddy Longlegs" walking by, remember to say "Hi Mami!" to 'em! 😆😅😂
