Have you ever wondered what it's like to play Quidditch? Well here's your chance. Quidditch World Cup starts you off with a tiny single player mode that's mostly tutorial based and then let's you free in playing either World Cup mode or Exhibition Mode featuring a total of 9 unique looking stadiums. This longplay features the single player mode and every stadium shown in Exhibition mode. My previous longplay was the World Cup mode but there's no actual ending to that and you basically just play each stadium twice. The only important thing that comes from completing the World Cup mode is the Queerditch arena.. fortunately I still had it on my old save, so I managed to show that off separately. I originally uploaded this yesterday but the footage came out blurry because the game is actually interlaced and my cheap Elgato hardware can't properly record interlaced games so I was forced to record this on an emulator. There's a few hiccups in the footage because of that (as my laptop is also cheap and not as good) but nothing terrible. The hiccups only happen during me showing off all the stadiums which doesn't feature any important gameplay anyway
Fun fact: There were originally going to be more Quidditch teams you could play as. Only 3 are known to have been worked on before being ultimately scrapped according to EA UK designers. They are Iceland, Egypt and Transylvania. They would have been awesome to play as.
Used to play this game nonstop when I was a kid. Can you imagine how awesome it would be if they did a new version of this today? Or added some Quidditch to Hogwarts Legacy? Not likely sadly, but a person can dream. Just imagine an online version with a full team of actual players. Beaters actively trying to hit bludgers into people, Chasers actually having to aim good passes instead of just auto locking onto a AI player, Seekers actually having to fly around and find the Snitch. It could be so much fun.
Quality is okay now. Framerate is a little choppy, though, but that could also be the game itself. And thanks for showing the Queerditch stadium this time.
@@haxbagtrinity I doubt the game will be good, at least for me. It looks as just another generic ultra high budget AAA game. Also, we'll probably not get anything in a few years after Hogwarts Legacy, considering how long games take to make nowadays. Meh
wow sometimes i wish they could have made a 2nd quidditch world cup game and they have add ireland to and some other teams to and i used to have this on gamecube to i still remember my ex neighbor who used to live down the street from me would play this with me he would choose gryffinder and i would choose either hufflepuff or ravenclaw or slytherin back when i was in my 1st year in high school
