Any of the American southern rock guitarists from Warren Haynes all the way back to Duane Allman have a bit of Mack in their playing. He could sing as well as any soul singer or bluesman too
Who's trying to squelch Lonnie's Roadhouses and Dancehall album tunes on You Tube ? It's hard to find that record and it contains some of his best tunes. Especially Hard Life, a personal favourite of mine.
