So a fellow local Mercedes SL55 owner contacted me today…..wanting a ride in my converted SL55. I’ve removed the ABC and installed Silver’s Neomax adjustable coilovers. He was thoroughly impressed! So will you!! He’s decided to place an order.
Also…..take a look at his incredible build!!!!

That’s an additional cooling system. This motor requires more cooling when you decrease the supercharger pulley below a certain size to increase the power. M113k motors can start to run hot. This one has a lot of mods to create crazy power.

What dampening level do you recommend? My ride seems to handle bumps fine, its the residual give (maybe sway?), not so much bounce, that seems uncomfortable to drive. Car just feels a lot heavier and can feel the road much more. I will tinker with the levels tomorrow as I can't remember what I have them set to, but have been meaning to get around and adjust them.

I always start off at around 21 front and 17 rear. I prefer a more firm ride. The rear determines most of the comfort. You want the front stiff for handling purposes. Too soft in the rear and it will bounce on big dips. Too hard and your back and spine will need a brace! Lol

@goldelementautoworks I got around to adjusting and it feels better, my back was 19 I believe, made it 17. Front was 22 but the passenger front was like 18?? Is it possible that bumps and driving can shift and change the dampening setting over time? Because I could swear both fronts were the same when I set them a few months back. I was away so the car was back home so not sure if someone changed it or maybe something is loose and changes if I hit a bump? Anyway I will be driving the car more especially during the summer so I will keep a closer eye to ensure it is the same level in the front. Thanks!
