Natalie that breadfruit tree can be replanted as long as you have other roots that grounded in the soil. You guys need to dig the root about four to six feet. We have educate ourselves on how to salvage, ad replant trees. Natalee l thought you guys lived in St Mary or Portland. I am do sorry for your loss. Keep Up The Good Work. Blessings.

You guys now feel what my community feels in 1988 with Hurricane Gilbert. Some of the houses in your community are still standing. My house was shredded, I was a 13 years old child at that time. In my community was a few board houses, and wall houses with mostly zinc roof. The community now is over 90% wall houses with concrete roofs because of that, but I still suffer panic attacks from Gilbert, I cannot sleep through a storm 😢 so you guys are a little better than us then, but to spear the children what I am experiencing now, those who can up grade to wall and a solid roof do so. You don't want to know that you could, but you didn't and it cause the life of a family member. ❤🇯🇲
What are those tall trees doing so close to the house? People took the hurricane lightly. Most of these people could not have survived hurricane Gilbert.
This location wants some serious development, too much board houses, I don't want to think you people can't build wall houses eh nuh, I hope you are lost in the pass. Where board houses was the norm. I believe in America there a lot of houses are made with board in tornados probe areas and they suffer yearly from many tornados. They should also build better and face reality. The main analyst is the people in Jamaica, and other islands survived this monstern of a hurricane with the number of trees down. Thank God the death rate,so far, throughout the damaged islands was 11 people. Everyone can not afford brick /concrete homes, and now not even a board house - it will be most difficult, in storms /hurricane prone regions. Also, this is the start of the hurricane seasons that finish in November. It's hoped the Region Diaster Releave Funds will contribute to these people lost.
But what if it's board houses they can only afford? I guarantee you that some of these houses are stronger than some of the paper and cardboard houses you are living in abroad. And at least they own them, no landlord, or anybody else can turn them out, cause it's theirs . Call me no ambition, but I love my board house , and I won't give it up for anything!!🤨
And moreover, better a board house that's yours ,than living under a basement in someone's house. Nuff a unnuh too show off when unnuh get a little break, easy fi figat weh unnuh a come from.
