Maybe the original idea is Spanish, but they also make this type of tiles in Mexico, in the state of Puebla. They also make dining sets and all types of decorative stuff with the same technique.

​@@ln7989 the way she is talking it seems the original set up had a sink thay matched the shower. So she wants to have them reinstalled if the original was destroyed in the makeover or if those are the originals stored either way they are original to the house and still very authentic and irreplacable.

She’s not being herself. She literally wants to talk and look like her. Dresses like her. That’s not being yourself. That’s imitating someone.

She doesn't fight her accent to sound like Marilyn. 🤣 She USED to fight her accent to sound more American. She moved to LA to start a career in the film industry via film production. When she was in school, many people told her that she wouldn't be taken seriously as an actress if she kept the accent. She said over and over that she didn't want to be an actress and was here for film production. People still hounded her about it. One day while at subway she was trying to order a tuna sandwich and they couldn't understand her so she had to point to get what she wanted. This embarrassed her and made her insecure over her accent. This made her believe that everything that everyone else is saying must be true. She then met her now husband Maverick and that's how she was able to imitate an American accent because she was around him the most but as a result it caused her voice to be much lower in register than naturally since maverick is a man after all. When she made her debut to social media she started only posting videos without her voice and sound but later on started to incorporate it. After a while she got tired of trying to keep up the accent and started to slowly let it come out and people bashed her for being "fake" despite the fact that that's her real voice. Overtime she started to debate on leaving social media all together because people were calling her fake and saying that her voice is annoying. She decided to stay and be true to herself no matter what. Now she talks the way she does naturally but her accent isn't as thick as it used to be because she's been in America for over 5 yrs and hasn't been around anyone else that's Scottish. Accents change alot and I can honestly confirm this bc I'm southern af but when I'm alone my accent isn't as thick but if you get me around my mom or my family in general then the banjos come out.

Lol of course it's inauthentic, she's from Scotland so normally her natural accent is a thick Scottish accent but she's CLEARLY a Marilyn Monroe enthusiast where she styles herself to look like Marilyn, moved to L.A., an ENTIRE different country, and bought Marilyns house, so ya, if she didn't try to imitate Marilyns baby high pitched voice, i wouldn't be watching her as the baby voice is a part of the gig, this look wouldn't make sense otherwise

I think she was living her life and being herself when she started dressing vintage. Perhaps things did start to become more focused on Marilyn when she started living in her house and being on social media though. Those are the types of videos people like to see and ppl tell her all the time she looks like her. It’s clear Marilyn has had a lot of influence with her even if she tries to say otherwise.

You could easily say the same thing about people who admire people like say the Kardashians. Only because it is not modern it may seem to stick out more. Most people are influenced by something and are not truly themselves.
